unles its a wii hacking guideOutdated doesn't always mean it's not a good option anymore. I've been using Mighty Channels since it's been out.
You have many options. Triiforce, Mighty Channels, UNEEK+DI, all are fine.i have read topics regarding this but most of them are pretty outdated. so any suggestions?
if i do chose to install it in the emulated nand, am i limited to the size of the usb hdd that i have? How do you intend to play your wiiware on your emulated nand? neek2o has a wadinstaller on the google svn. page.
People also use showmiinand on pc to insert a wad into an emulated nand
stored somewhere? like where? sorry for being a noob about this.If your emulated nand is on the usb drive, yes you are limited to it's capacity. The channels need to be stored somewhere...
i tried installing wiiware from the emunand using showminands. then while playing, i decided to delete it cause it's crap ( should have listened to other gamers' advice!) then i notice that the blocks shown that are free/available (the one on the lower righthand side) didnt change (580 before, 580 after) is that what you were trying to say on that last sentence? The wii nand is basically a solid state flash disk of 512MB
If you emulate the nand on an usb drive, like in case of uneek and uneek2o, than the contents of the nand are also read and written
to and from the usb drive. If you install a channel, it's files are copied to the nand. Since nand access is rerouted to the harddisk, they are now copied over there as well. So, they will occupy space on that harddisk. If it run's out of space, the behavour is unpredictable, as for instance neek doesn't report to the wii that the harddisk is running out of space.
