Gaming What do you expect from Pokemon Black 2 and White 2?

Of all of the responses I've seen for it, the vast majority did not like this generation. I myself thought it was okay, so I'm not just trying to say my opinion is right.

You made a post saying the majority of people hated the game, then when someone else said that they know a ton of people who like it, you followed with "argument: invalid" whatever that may mean. Anyways, yes, you are trying to say that your opinion is right or the majority vote.

They used "I know a lot of people who like it" as an argument.
But I know a lot of people who don't like it, so that wasn't a decent argument.

Are you...joking? You do understand that the release of a Pokemon game on the 3DS would drive sales of the 3DS through the roof, right? This is pretty simple marketing and if you can't understand why people think new titles announced after the release of the 3DS would be on the 3DS - I can't help you.

Are you...joking? You do understand that the release of a Pokemon game on the 3DS would drive sales of the 3DS through the roof, right? This is pretty simple marketing and if you can't understand why people think new titles announced after the release of the 3DS would be on the 3DS - I can't help you.

Gamefreak want to drive sales of their games not nintendo consoles and its simple as that and its a bloody wonder why people keep expecting gamefreak to care that nintendo wants to sell their 3DS. Gamefreak isn't nintendo and frankly its better marketing to be selling it on the DS instead of the 3DS because there are more DS owners than 3DS and all DS games can be played on the 3DS anyway so stop ya complaining.

I'm 26 already and also still hooked, or at least still interested, and my son is totally into the TV series and the games... ^^;

I'm totally intrigued in a direct sequel, I was already quite happy about the intro movie in B/W and that there was some more focus on story compared to the other games, so I'm really curious what they'll do with a direct sequel.

I'm also pretty excited about Pokemon vs Nobunaga's Ambition, hope that will get localised as well, I had always thought the Pokemon franchise would be good SRPG material. *_*

Sheesh guys, enough about "invalid posting". Some people liked the game some people don't its irrelevant if you know people who liked it or not. It all depends on if or not YOU liked it.

I did find it a good change from Diamond and Pearl, in my opinion they were better games. Although the Pokemon could still use work......

For Black and White 2 I'm glad that they are not on the 3DS, I have one but I am happy for them to bring something brand spanking new instead of the previous title stuck with a "2" on it. I'll gladly wait for something original and fresh for the 3DS so it can have something truly worthy of the DS successor instead of the DS leftovers.

• It will be in the same region, but in a diferent period of time (like in Black City / White Forest, the game can be in the future or in the past)
• It will have something like the battle frontier (but not the same of sinnoh)
• It will have a complete new story (confirmed)
• It will not have new Pokemon, only new forms, the starters will be the same (almost confirmed)
• The story of the game will have a relation with the first game, it will be a prequel or a sequel (Remember that at the end of B/W Zekrom or reshiram flies away.

Lol, why do people keep expecting Gamefreak to care if nintendo wants to sell more 3DSs or not, they're a seperate company who wants to make money off their games and the agreement between nintendo and Gamefreak is only that Gamefreak games will be on their console but its still up to Gamefreak to pick which console they want to put it on not the other way round.

I obviously used my argument to point out that your argument is completely stupid. You simply don't know "the majority" and you base your opinion on what the majority of those you know or the people who wrote about it on the internet (and I bet you haven't read every single review and comment that exists on the internet - not to mention all the reviews / comments written in other languages) said about it. It's not possible to say how many liked it or not, but to me it certainly didn't feel like the majority disliked the game. ^^

I'd like to see some ability to customize your trainer. Since I utterly despise every single trainer you can choose to play as. I mean, why make it so that you can dress up pokemon for five minutes while your trainer looks like trash the whole game?
Being able to choose clothing, skin color, hair color, hair cut, eye shape and color really makes me feel like it's my adventure, not that I'm running around as that dumb guy from the tv show and although I don't usually go to the trading hub it would be nicer to see the characters people chose to make rather than "pick the trainer from this set that you like best".
Plus, it's not like you can choose different poses for your trainer ID card so it would just be an overlay of the different separate clothing parts, but since I'm not really into the technical stuff it may be harder than I realise.
If it was implemented, then something along the lines of Professor Dude forgets what you look like cause they're senile so you choose what you look like and they say "Oh! You've grown so much I didn't recognise you" would work just fine.

Also I really liked the secret hide-out scheme in Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire, although the underground made it tons easier to get items. A mixture of digging and trading for stuff underground and choosing a "lair" in the niches of the overworld would be what I'd like to see most, when it comes to having a hide-out.

Other than that, please, please no more "poor pokemon slaves" or trite stories like that. Can we please try a change of pace for once? Let's see here, Gen 1: Team Rocket enslaving pokemon, Gen 2: Team Rocket enslaving pokemon still, Gen 3: Different Team Whoever enslaves pokemon, Gen 4: Team Someone else enslaving pokemon. Now, Gen 5 was a little different cause they switched the view, but it's still practically the same thing just turned on it's head. I know that someone has to be the bad guy, but there's got to be a better way to do this.

Oh woops, I'm saying what I'm hoping for, not really what I expect.
I expect to be disappointed. I just keep wishing that pokemon could someday mean to me more than catching monsters with the best stats and beating the elite four.

Although I will probably play the next game because I've been playing since Red. I can't wait to see what they do to the storyline, in all honesty I've gotten used to the whole "poke slaves" idea. If they do this one well I may go back and replay Black and do more than just beat the elite four to see the end of the story.
Oh, and they will probably have N in this one again, I wonder if he's going to still be delusional. I will miss having the B&W legendaries if they aren't catchable in the next one, without trading them over.

Pokemon black and white 2? Uh oh. I don't really like the new pokemon games, i was satisfied completely with Pkmn Diamond and Pearl.
How about scrap the idea of Pkmn B and W and just create an entirely new pkmn with all the regions accessible and more move slots? Maybe also be able to customise your character at the beginning. (and a custom pokeball).

Oh and the main reason most people didn't like it was because it was this huge new thing with hardly any classic pokemon ( but please don't start on me, because i put pkmn white down about 2 days after playing it. )

They really need to make some cool new pokemon, i really despised pkmn B and W's new pokemon.

I found Zorua much better than Pikachu in terms of design and cuteness.
