Well, I'm curious...do you think that the 3ds will ever have homebrew similar to the Wii where one can use channels from the home menu?

Nobody can really be sure how the thing is gonna be hacked. I would place my bet on flashcarts instead of a homebrew channel sort of thing.

Soon we will know but for all we know, many people might be trying to hack the 3DS. I only hope the 3DS is hacked in one way. Remove the Region Lock on the console and allow imported games to be played, But one can dream. I shall dream, drop to sleep and go the distance soon! [Obvious reference is obvious]
Sorry for this blunt comment but i'm sorta tired of seeing the same stuff about the 3DS, [When it's hacked will it use bla bla bla] [Can the 3DS be hacked by yadda yadda].

We try to keep the what-if and Do-you-think and Maybe-someday threads to a minimum here. Speculation and wishful thinking gets us nowhere. Until more is known about the 3DS, until some part of it is hacked, nobody can tell you a damn thing about what to expect.
You could raise this question in the hacking theory thread, but I really don't see you getting any more of an answer than you have here.
If anything they'll be even more blunt about it, there.
