downgrading will not allow you to install those, it has nothing to do with save data

try enabling the copy save protection priiloader hack and try again

i'm double posting and i don't care.

when i hacked my cousin's wii on 3.3 the save installed fine. but when i installed on a 4.0 or higher it says not all save data can be copyed and it starts the game over again.

What is saying "not all data can be copied", SM or SGMGX? because the hack allows all saves to be copied

Give details on what your using then what errors occur

did you try "Decompress" yet in SGMGX and have you enabled the "Remove Copy Protection" hack in Priiloader when usiing SM

You havent showed any indication of trying these yet and its starting to put the thread OT not to mention wall banging that the same thing is repeated over and over yet no responce is given if youve even tried what has been suggested.

on Wiird.l0nk.org caitisith2 wrote this about your save game blocking:

There are 2 primary methods developers use for blocking game saving:

Method 1, which is what Games like Mario Kart Wii, Mario and Sonic Olympics, Nights: Journey of Dreams, Nintendo Channel, Check Mii Out, Internet Channel uses, is an actual no copy flag on the full save data. These games DO copy when the no copy flag is disabled by this patch.

Method 2, which is games like Guitar Hero 3, Guitar Hero AeroSmith, Dr. Mario Online RX, All Virtual Console Games, is a directory inside the save data directory called "nocopy". Any data contained here is NOT copied, even with the current no copy flag disable patch. If this happens to be the only data, then, the wii appears to start the copy process, and then says "This save cannot be copied". If there does happen to be data other than what is in the "nocopy" directory, then the wii will say "Some of the data could not be copied". (Any virtual console games with in-game saving, and Guitar Hero Aerosmith does have data that sits outside the "nocopy" directory, and therefore copies, but only that data sitting outside. (There is also a directory option called "noerase", which blocks erasing of that data. I have yet to encounter a save using "noerase" though.)

If you need something to develop a method 2 bypass, get any of the Virtual Console NES/SNES/TG16/SMS games. Go into the game, do some progress, then use the home button to go back to the Wii Menu, so that the virtual console game does make a savestate, which will reside as a nocopy save. As it is, the no copy disable is only half way done at present.

@[member='XFlak']: Just a suggestion:

I see why you posted this notice and it's ok, but technically it is not scam if ModMii has been bundled and/or sold. You see Team Twiizers did post this warning because the license of their HackMii Installer doesn't allow people to sell and to bundle it, but in ModMii's case it's different. ModMii's license actually permits people to sell and to bundle this software, so technically it's not scam and people doesn't have the right to demand their money back if they have paid for it.

Perhaps you want to replace the scam notice with the actual license of ModMii and this link: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html to inform the users of their rights. In my opinion it's more professional this way :)

Xflak had a conversation with bushing a while ago to get his approval to have modmii (back then it was NUSAD) download the hackmii installer and bushing said that it is fine as long as there is a scam screen. Thats why XFlak does this with ModMii now.

And, honestly, there is no reason to remove it. Since it is open source people can edit it to the way they want, but for what XFlak wants to hold true with his software there is no reason to remove it.

Regardless of licence, if you pay for something that is available FREE, you have been scammed in my book.
However, if you pay someone to, for example, download all the files for you using modmii, then its fine, because then you are paying for the work and not the free software.

I think the scam message should stay the way it is.
