[quote:KH13]Square Enix France have revealed the release date for Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance in Europe. According to their official online store, the European version of the game will release on July 27, 2012 (well, the France version to be specific, but France release date = Europe release date 90% of the time). This means we can probably expect a July release for North America, and a release the same week as France/Europe for Australia.

Update: Square Enix France have since edited the website to say "Summer 2012" (between June 2012 and August 2012). This is probably because they were not supposed to reveal the release date yet (as there has been no official announcement), but keep in mind that it could mean it was in error. We'll have to wait to find out more information.

Update 2: KHDestiny have Tweeted that they contacted Square Enix France, and Square Enix France stated that Kingdom Hearts 3D is "now set for a Summer 2012" release. This means that Kingdom Hearts 3D will release sometime during Summer 2012 in Europe, and Square Enix are probably aiming for sometime around July 27 (but it is not yet set in stone).
Remember, the only reason we know July 27, 2012 is accurate is because it comes from Square Enix. Square Enix have made no mention of the North American release date yet, and any given dates by game stores (especially those on the 1st or last day of a month) are just placeholders/predictions. EB Games Canada, for example, have had a "July 1" date up since January, where stores like Amazon.com claim "December 31". These are just placeholders.

Update 3: Square Enix France have also revealed the boxart for the European version of the game. This is exactly the same as the Japanese boxart for Kingdom Hearts 3D, except, the game logo is moved from the bottom-left to the top-right. Enjoy.

~KH13[/quote]I have a few words to say: WOOHOO! CAN'T WAIT!

EDIT: Sorry for the typo. (Referring to title typo)

HAHA! Great news! Was expecting this kind of revelation eventually anyway, but it's great having a fixed date now!

And to those thinking the translation is too fast, it's really not. KH2 came out in Japan December 22, then in America March 28th, 3 months. Then it hit Europe 6 months later. So unless I missed the American release date announcement, we can assume the game will come out for EU and US at the same time.

Edit: Umm the page says "Date de sortie : été 2012" which means Summer 2012, which would make July still plausible, but it could be as late as September.

The American date didn't get announced yet.

And well it said July 27 at first, I am sure of it. I guess there was a mistake and now they said it's Summer.

My birthday is July 28. This is convenient :) That is, if they release in America at around the same time.

I hope it has better voice acting then BBS. Sorry, but Aqua's voice is unbearable in English.
I sort of liked her voice (Terra's is usually the one people hate, but i didn't mind him either). I loved most of the voice acting in BBS though, Leonard Nimoy was an awesome elderly Master Xehanort. That being said, this game stars Sora and Riku, and we already know what their voice actors sound like. They're going to be the ones you listen to most often. I'm most always impressed by their performances. David Gallagher has been great since the beginning, and HJO just keeps getting better with every game (Vanitas was awesome). Plus you'll get the same voices for Xemnas, Xehanort, etc. The Disney voices all usually pull off a great performance as well.

I don't think Aqua will appear much in this game (if you've beaten BBS, you'll know why). Looks like some of the Organization members will reappear as whole people now though (no longer nobodies), we've got Lea and Braig who seem pretty important. Lea at least seems to have a lot of lines, and i'm assuming Quinton Flynn will be back for him (he's always got a great voice).

That's good news on Quinton Flynn, sort of. Save for being sacked or something (which i highly doubt, and grrr if he were), it sounds like he has every intention of doing the role. I imagine he'll be there.

Richard Epcar confirmed on his Facebook page that he was back as Xehanort (all the ones he voiced before). He also stated that Leonard Nimoy would return as old Master Xehanort, when someone mistakenly thought he meant Epcar was voicing him as well (Epcar clarified in a response Nimoy was voicing that character, not himself).
