I did that many many times... course the purpose wasn't to use the toilet for pooping... it was to sit on while I had sex...
on a more disturbing note...
the other time back in highschool was an event that will stay with me forever. He was contemplating suicide and then committing suicide. two hours of trying to talk him out of it... both of us in toilets in different stalls.

two bullets one that missed then one that hit...
curiously my favorite mens-room in the entire highschool.
edit: I actually consider that event as successful - it went from him having a gun pointed at me to him talking to me, to him about to put the gun down, then abruptly changing his mind and forcing me into the other toilet, I missed the next period just to stay there with him. he was waiting for someone who didn't come then shot himself.

Alessa pretended to be on the toilet for 3 hours today while using my DS, just because it's the furthest place in the house away from Chell and her crazy Portal madness.

Well, back in the Roman times, there was no toilet paper. They used a sponge on a stick instead.
So there would be criminals condemned to fight in the arena who would ask to use the toilet before going out into the arena...
And they killed themselves by shoving the stick down their throat. Fun.

Whenever I take a shit I take my 3DS/phone/tablet/GBA with me, sometimes I'll sit there for quite a bit playing something or other. I started doing that ever since I got a GBC. It was great.
That is one of my habits aswell and I don't think it's weird. How's a game system different then a news paper - both divert the focus off what you were actually supposed to be doing. Still, I hate the leg cramps - sitting on "the edge" for too long makes me feel uber uncomfortable.
