I have NO idea what happened, I was using FuSa gamepad some time ago as normal, everything was fine but I'm not sure if it turned off correctly. It was taking a while to turn off...anyway, I tried to turn it back on now a couple weeks later, the green light shows up, but nothing appears on screen. Nothing I do seems to be working, there's no sound or anything. I'm tried taking out the battery in and out, and once when I tried turning it on when plugged in by USB the computer asked me to format the memory stick :O

Anyway, I'm running 5.00 M33-6 I believe, anyone know what happened or what I can do?

If the green light turns off after a while... then you have a brick, mister.

Can't think of anything else other then Happy Pandora Times, really. Unless the problem is more severe and your PSP just chose to die.

Yeah I've tried holding R while booting it, nothing at all. Although I'm now wondering if it is showing up but I just can't see it because nothing is displayed? I really have no idea what's going on...and I can't seem to get the memory card displayed on my computer again, it doesn't even ask me to format it now, that only happened once for some reason...

The only thing I can think of is attempting to boot the unit with a Pandora battery, provided it is compatible. Sounds to me that it's dead though, as you haven't really done anything to lead it to such a state.

Turn the PSP on without a battery or memory stick (make sure charger is though). If it still refuses to do anything, you got a brick

Yeah, I took out the Memory Stick and the battery, tried turning it on while plugged in, nada. Damn, this is so unfortunate, I am now PSP-less for some time...so I guess if I have a brick then I need to get a Pandora Battery right? Or is there an easy way to turn my current battery into one? I am not too up-to-date with this stuff, so I am really lost here :(

Then I need to use the Pandora Battery to create my memory stick into a Magic Memory stick right? I only have a Photofast though...can I turn that into an MMS? Or is there a way for me to unbrick with JUST the Pandora Battery?

I suppose the best place for me to purchase a Pandora is from dealextreme right? Even there there are way too many to choose from, dunno which one to get...

I know it's a lot of questions, but any help would be much appreciated! Thank you :D

My personal opinion is "not wasting your stock battery" and getting a Pandora online, as they're dirt-cheap. After getting a Pandora battery (you can get a spare Sony battery and mod it or you can but a pre-made TOOL battery), all you need to do is prep an MMS stick and you're good to go. Just post here when you have the proper hardware to continue and we'll help you unbrick your PSP in no-time.

WOW so, out of the blue, my PSP turned on today and worked fine! No idea what happened, I didn't really do anything with it either, I hadn't touched it in a few days but go figure. Was just about to order a Pandora Battery and Memory Stick from DealExtreme too, so I guess I lucked out. Thanks to everyone for the help anyway!
