So I'm new to the whole Wii hacking thing. What I want to know is:

1: How do I find out what WiiKey I have? It came already installed before I bought the Wii.
2: I downloaded Skyward Sword, and I was told by the person who I bought the Wii from, that I need two programs: WiiBrickBlocker and regionfrii. What do I do with these programs and where can I find the latest downloads for it.
3: How do I go about burning the game to a dvd, what programs are recommended?

1. Uhh...no clue. Heh. Sorry

2. You don't necessarily need them but if you're looking for these you can find them on Filetrip somewhere. regionfrii all you need to do is open the problem, select your ISO, select the country you wish to convert it to, and done. Basically it's used to change video options...I think. WiiBrickBlocker I'm not too sure of, haven't used it in a while. Just does what it says, helps keep your Wii from bricking.

3. Use IMGBurn. Best free burning software out there.

I'm gonna opt for the lazy option: ask the guy who sold you the wii.

Backup discs aren't possible on wii's newer than 2009, which is probably why the programs you mentioned aren't updated (or even used) anymore.

My advice? Get a USB drive, softmod the thing and load your games faster and more reliable than from DVD.

Backup discs work already. I have a ton of them and they work. I just don't know if for newer wii games, if something has to be done to the iso's or what. Or if I have to update the WiiKey if it's possible at all.
