Hacking Transfer games from old wii to new?

So, my buddy has a Wii that is not modded. His USB ports are hashed. Dog ripped out the microphone and destroyed the ports.
So, He is getting a new Wii. I want to rip the channels he has on his old wii to the new wii (meaning games). I am going to softmod both Wii's with ModMii 6.0.

I am not sure exactly how to do this. Can someone point me in the right direction?

You could just use betwiin or punetwiin to convert his old nand to work on the new wii, but it is a little risky, but is probably the simplest way of doing it.

I can fix the USB ports. I actually have a set that I had pulled from another wii that was bricked beyond repair. If you are interested then let me know and I'll give you more details.

i dont think the board would be broken, at least it's highly unlikely!

i have my wii in the car with a HDD plugged into the USB port, someone kicked it and snapped off the black innard that holds the pins in the right place so that they contact the pins of the HDD, all the pins had bent but i managed to use some tweezers and put them all back in the right position, but it's very delicate now haha

ANYWAYSSS, the old wii has broken ports and is not softmodded? if the cannels are going to be ripped off it it'll have to be softmodded, theres no other way to get them on the new way without homebrew (Y) once it's softmodded you can just use a wad extractor/ installer and extract from one then install to the other

thats Multi Mod Manager, an application that allows you to install any WAD files (channels) you extract from the old wii.

i cannot find the application to extract the channels from the old wii, i recall it was 'wad extractor' or something like that, but if you know all the names of the games installed (which you should haha) then you should be able to find the games available to download online as a .wad file, if you download the ones you have and use the Multi Mod Manager to install them everything should work

i think it's a bit illegal though because the game you install on the new wii will obviously not have been purchased and licensed haha but i've never worried about that

You can use bluedump to dump the channels. I think you may also be able to use the PC app ShowMiiWads to extract the WADs from a NAND dump.
As far as the save games, most can be dump via data management in the system menu, but if you use priiloader hacks then they all can be dumped from data management. You could also use waninkoko's savegame manager. I would suggest against using savegame manager gx because it has always been extremely buggy to me.
For the miis, you can transfer them by putting them on the wiimote (kind of a bitch to do if theres a lot of miis), or use waninkoko's mii extractor/installer app.

it's much easier to migrate your account from another Wii to another Wii. Refer to Nintendo's Customer Support about it.

But anyway, you can just do a full NAND backup then use showmiinands and repack the games to wad file. After that, he can just install it again, but now using those wad to install on new Wii.
