Anyways, like the topic says, I was just wondering something. Like, you know how there's a Board Statistics in the Forum Index page? (gbatemp.net/index)?
Well, I was just wondering in the Board Statistics, why is there 'Google' and 'FaceBook' as an account? And also, how come some users, you can't click on their names?

Just asking. Sorry for bothering, if I did.

They are bots, simply put.

No idea what Facebook does but Googles bot is a web crawler (I'm guessing).

Medals increase/change as your postcount goes up (slowly). Or if you get a special position. I found there was a mouse in mine.

They are bots, simply put.

No idea what Facebook does but Googles bot is a web crawler (I'm guessing).

Facebook have a crawler too, it scrapes pages which are linked via Facebook.

The accounts (which don't really exist) are automatically assigned via their user-agents as a SEO tactic (it allows crawlers to use different permissions), which is common in web software.
