Hacking How to update Wii Shop Channel on 4.1U as well as other channels?

1. You will need the wad of the stuff you want. You can use the nus downloader to get it, or you can use modmii.
2. You will need a wadinstaller homebrew on your wii. Multi mod manager can do the job.
I use wadmanager_gui which has less functionality than mmm.
Those installers require a vulnerable ios. This is usually ios36 installed in slot 236 (ios236)

For the shopping channel, you will need the ios57 wad and the shopping channel wad.

You have ios236 which is the patched ios 36

So, in case of multi mod manager, just switch to that ios 236 before you install the wad's

You will need ios56.wad and the latest shopping channel.wad. The easiest way is to use modmii to download those for you.

Pick whatever is recommended for you:

Your system menu will be different depending on your selections

Click Finish, and it will download the files u need, as well build a guide for you to follow (once u click finish the guide will pop-up in your browser)

btw, if your softmod itself is outdated you could just tell ModMii that your Wii has NOT been modded before and it will get u to update all your softmods
