My friend asked me to help her find out what this means:

Apparently it was written on the backs of some spoons and forks she has.

It looks like either Japanese or Chinese, but it's hard to make out the radicals so I can't really check. Well, one looks close to the radical for "tree," but I checked what else it went into and the closest thing to the first character was "apricot." I'm assuming it is not apricot.

It looks like either Japanese or Chinese, but it's hard to make out the radicals so I can't really check. Well, one looks close to the radical for "tree," but I checked what else it went into and the closest thing to the first character was "apricot." I'm assuming it is not apricot.
It's Korean.

Jup it's Korean, Knew it when I saw the 3rd character from the left, only koreans have those circles mixed in it :P

Korean was my first guess, but I couldn't find anything that looks like those symbols when I checked the Korean alphabet. I noticed a couple radicals, though, so I assumed Chinese/Japanese after that.
