either save this text to a *.bat file and run it or just type it into a cmd window
Code:
dir /s /b
Thanks Xflak. cmd dir/s/b >file_folder_structure.txt did what i was looking from within the modmii folder i have. Also found tree/a >file_folder_structure.txt was good too but for some reason I can't list the filenames too, for example tree/a/f >file_folder_structure.txt. If you just do tree/f the text comes out funky rather then in ascii. Regardless I got what I wanted though so I can pretty much mimic what E_Zapotek did to post bug reports, it should be the standard lol.
If you like that then you'll love this. From ModMii's main menu, type "O", (make sure your drive settings are correct, change them if need be), then type "C", then "C2", then "L". This will not only recursively list all the files in the specified folder (like you've already done with the "dir" command) but also calculate\display the md5 hash of every file. I added this feature a looooooong time ago mainly for my own use and I'm pretty sure almost no one else knows about it or cares about it. I've even stopped using it for the most part myself and now I use mainly "hashmyfiles" to check the md5 of files.

Nice! I just did it to check default copy_to_sd location. I'll try out hashmyfiles mainly used quicksfv.

Hey Xflak,
Just now recovering from your practice kick from #modmii. :rofl2: I just want to say how impressed I am with modmii. I just started looking into dml on neek2o r75 4.3u nand and started downloading software and setting things up. I wish I would have just checked modmii, it would have saved me the time from doing that. You really have a lot of things incorporated into modmii. Just need some menu theme developers to add a few more themes in there for you, ( I created most of my own .csms' but would be a big timesaver).

Keep up the awsome work!

WoW, Modmii is defiitely becoming my number tool! Xflak, this contribution is incredible. THANK YOU!!

Can someone outline some quicksteps to get neek2o up and running?? I ran option # 3 for first time users to completely build everything from scratch. I also used to my setting.txt from a previous NAND backup. I copy everything from inside the COPY_TO_SD and USB folders to thier respective strorage devices.

Not sure where to go from there. With SNEEK/UNEEK I would just choose the "launch bootmii" option from within the homebrew and channel and it would reboot and the magic would happen.

I am getting a constant flash when I try and repeat the process now. Did I missing something??

Oh also, I have a few games ripped and placed in the WBFS directory on the root of the USB storage as well.

Thanks,
-Digital

the instructions on launching neek are in the tips modmii shows on screen after building your emulated nand. If you want to be able to boot into neek using the old method (ie. bootmii IOS or bootmii@[member='boot2490']) then rename the "bootmiineek" folder on your sd card to "bootmii". If you want use the method of booting neek that doesn't require the SD:\bootmii folder then install the neek2o channel that was saved to SD:\WAD\ using MMM. This channel has the added benefit of being able to launch uneek without an sd card.

and thx for the positive feedback :D

Thanks a million!!

I've never felt more compelled to give a donation. :)

It's difficult for me to stay up to date on the latest and greatest things happening with the Wii, your tool solves that! Once again, great work and keep spreading the knowledge!!

Up and running! With the Orange Wii theme too!

Everything seems good so far except I can't get postloader to run properly.

"postloader launches ok and then hangs at the Please wait....Loading screen."

Found a post about it over at:

http://gbatemp.net/topic/299384-postloader3/page__st__1560

but don't see the resolution anywhere within that thread or the google.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
- Digital

My only complaint is that the initial "I Agree" thing seems to be case sensitive, when nothing else in the process is, which is confusing. It goes through anyway, but I got the insulting "you can't follow directions" message, which hurt my self-esteem. A quick call to my therapist allowed me to move on though.

Teehee well otherwise this worked flawlessly, not a single issue. I just wish I had found it sooner.

As a noob (I'm a network tech but new to all things Wii), what confused me most was the menu version lingo. There's a lot of info online about either "4.3U disc exploits" and "4.3 discless exploits", which made it seem like there's a "4.3" version (with no letter) that CAN be hacked with no disc, but if you have "4.3U" you need a disc (even within the ModMii wizard there is a little confusion there, but not as bad).

Anyway big thanks to the devs. ModMii should be the first Google result for "wii softmod" instead of the crap there now. I'll try to spread the word.

thx for the positive feedback... FYI, "i agree" is not case sensitive, I just double checked to make sure, u may have accidentally typed it wrong. Care to try again to confirm it's not case sensitive for u?
You're right, I tried again all lowercase and it worked. I guess I typed it wrong the first time, sorry bout that. Anyway thanks again :)

welcome to my world :P

Getting stuck on reloading a different IOS withing neek2o, specifically ios249. MMM just freezes and I have to hard reset and Yet Another Wad Manager Mod just hangs for a second and does nothing. I can use IOS58 but that does not help much for my current desires.

I installed all the provided .WADS from Modmii to my NAND with showmiiwads. Am I missing something?? Sorry to be such a noob

Hey XFlak,
I'm Just curious to know why do we have cIOS249 and 250 d2xv8betar41 with bases 60, 70 & 80 (these are system menu IOS) and usb loader don't work when we use them!!!
Is there any good use for these files to be on the download list?

by the way using cios249[57]d2xv8beta41 as system menu IOS (from priiloader menu) in conjunction with loading disc channel with ios249 +/- force disc region allowed me to run almost all games from disc channel :)

Hi XFlax. Had a question for you. I made a 4.2u Sneek+DI r192 NAND but ModMii still installs Priiloader v0.7 [mod for neek2o] and the nSwitch Channel. Since this is not a neek2o nand should it be installing Priiloader v0.7 236mod and switch2uneek?

==================================================
4.2U Emulated NAND created by ModMii on Mon 01/30/2012

setting.txt built using this serial: LU531343645
Custom System Menu Theme Installed - Dark Wii Red
Priiloader v0.7 [mod for neek2o] Installed
nSwitch Channel Installed
Post Loader Forwarder Channel Installed

priiloader will not detect neek2o and will work like the normal real nand priiloader into neek.
Crediar changed the delay for the overlay menu activation from 10 seconds to 1 second.
Due to that, a nand with priiloader freezes with a black screen.
The nSwitch channel method to boot into neek should be compatible, however, due to another change crediar made, the program won't detect
it is running in neek and will not return to real nand when it's run in neek.

Question, does ModMii include anything to play GameCube backups? +How about from a USB drive? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I see NeoGamma is supposed to handle this. I can't seem to find any mention of it in my HBC or in the ModMii wizard. Is there a guide somewhere on how to install/use it, and how to put the GameCube backups on my SD card?

just download neogamma from download page 2, save it to you sd card.

from download page 4, download and install DML using a wad manager, this is what allows GC backups to be played from an sd card

to extract GC games u can use ModMii's game bulk extractor for sneek, from the main menu enter "S" then "4"

Cheers

Thanks for the instructions. Everything worked up until I tried to launch the game -- NeoGamma does see my game when I choose DML, but when I try to launch the game, I hear the disc drive try to spin up and then get the message "no disc inserted".

The game is Pikmin 2, if that matters (according to the compatibility list for NeoGamma, this game is supposed to work, at least the first half of it). The file I loaded was a .GCM renamed to .ISO, which I hope was the right way to do it.

Do you have any suggestions? I see NeoGamma can load from a USB partition, would that work?
