Okay, so I was roaming my collection of games, and I realized that there was a flaw in each one. I wish I could make my own, but I have no idea how. Then I realized- I have a perfectly good community that creates Homebrew and applications all the time! Now, I'm asking you, the Community, to help me and other ambitious minded people learn the skills, or help with creating a game that has the inspiration and included opinions of Gamers around the world. Does anybody want to get on the bandwagon for making this? We should probably start on PC, or DS, then continue from there to other systems. Any suggestions?

Making a game is no easy feat... There's a lot that needs to be done, sprites, music, coding, etc...
Back when I was in school I had to write programs all the time since that's what my school was for, and I at one time did try to make a small game with a classmate of mine. Just to make a crappy game with poor coding, pre-built sprites and all that shizz, we took a long time to complete it. Note that it was a game where all you did was walk around and talk to people. Making a game in general takes ages and most companies have dozens if not hundreds of people working on the same game.

If you were to make a hack instead of a completely new game, seeing as in a hack you're mainly using pre-built things (sprites and most of the coding), although you can change it and still make a pretty unique game by inserting dif sprites...
Anyway... If you have full knowledge of how hard it is... Good luck and go ahead.

Yeah, I understand everything that is necessary in making a game, and I know that it won't be an overnight project. Using pre-built sprites was what I intended, I'm just trying to get a planning, preparation, and story line together, while we also find programmers (I'm learning java) that would participate.

I hope so.
This reminds me the GBAtemp pokemon white/black hack, where everybody wanted to become a story character.
But due to lack of convenience and simple logic the hack was dis-continued, with 0.02% completion.

It doesn't actually have to be a particular member, it could be ideas for an individual, not saying, "I wanna be the main story person", or anything, but creating a generic hero or protaganist that would choose the route which led him to be a feared tyrant, or a revered fighter. Like Fallout, but more open-ended, maybe online (doubt it) or something. If you can give me a good character profile (Name, abillities, picture, etc,) that would be great.

There should be an area called Edge of the Forum, maybe a game arcade with that name where the main char would go, and there the main character would encounter several very indecent people. =3

Think of... A Pokemon interface, with a fallout gameplay style, and Final Fantasy weapons... In a pokemon red/ blue bit world... I'm not good at descriptions.

how should these thing fit together?
Over-the-head Legend Of Zelda view, Open ended, Path Choosing game- Fallout, make descions, A combination of a fantasy/ scifi genre, and Pokemon style player sprites, like from Red, Yellow, and Blue.

Also, that is why I'm saying, start from Scratch. The protagonist doesn't have to have a set name, you could simply enter a name. Variables in java would work for the name... I think..

Wait, what? You're making an RPG in java? Good luck with that...

Inb4 Minecraft is an rpg

Yeah, that's my problem, but also why I want more of a community involvement, it would be nice to see the skills of our fellow tempers... I get lazy, but still, there's no reason why it can't be done.

Yeah, I could see it getting completetion if a entire group was behind it. I found it BTW. (Last update link is on the last page.)
