"What time is it?" "Hang on lemme check my watch! SHIT, FORCE CLOSED".

or

"What time is it?" "Hang on, I gotta kill this hooker in GTA 3!"

or

"What time is it?" "Hang on! I'm busy rooting my watch to get Cyanogen Mod Watch edition!"

Too funny. If I were to get one of these watches I would have to totally "streamline" the thing. No games maybe not even browsing, just Music, Facebook, Twitter, Weather, Time and maybe Pictures and Youtube. I mean really keeping it simple. Also, running on Android 1.6 that thing isn't worth the 300 ish U.S. dollars. I'm pretty sure someone from China could make a version with half the price with a really good resistive screen

for that price i'd rather buy a tablet

Blade, you just voiced the biggest issue with this watch. These guys should have focused on pricing. Damn the capacitive screen, for what they are offering, you can get a tablet for about 120 U.S. dollars and have a better experience. Seriously, why stick a ARMv11 processor in something that small and couple it with Android 1.6? It's a huge mistake. They could have created the same experience with a ARMv6 processor and Android 1.6 and the price would have been way cheaper.

$300? Crikey. Looks like the Sony Ericsson LiveView. (Which I can see on Amazon for about £25 now.) And neither are actual phones, but rather Bluetooh syncable phone companions.

Bit over kill on the specs, for the basic features its actually going to be used for, No way I would pay 300 for that, and I don't think anyone else would either realistically unless they've got loads of money to spare or just have to have all the newest gadgets, $80-$100 seems little bit more realistic for this, you can get a budget android phone for that price

Is that thing legal for testing? :P

Seriously thought, while a Android Watch sounds nice, I rather just use my phone and the watch I barely use...

Even with a much better price, I just didn't see myself using it anyway.

Watches where designed to show the time.
They did so for years and years and years.

This isn't a watch, it's just a gadget that is designed to make Google even richer.

It's...not made by Google? Just because it's Android doesn't mean Google made it. Google ONLY makes a profit if they are involved in any of the services or features (like the market). Android is open source, I could make an Android sock if I wanted to, doesn't mean Google gets profits from my socks.

You do know that Android OS is free right? Also, this watch wont be using the official market so it's not like a lot of ad dollars are going to Google. Either way I LOVE Google an Android. The price is a killer but a Android watch, with proper apps for it and done well would totally kick ass!

I honestly thought it was from Google since they bought it....
