1. Backup save files and roms from microSD card.
2. Download TGB_Dual.
3. Link.
4. Put save files back to card.
5. ???
6. Profit!

Nifi is a modded version of Wifi and is ONLY for the nintendo DS.
GBA doesn't use Wifi/Wireless connection, so it can't be named NiFi for GBA.

NiFi is Wifi with a TCP-IP layer removed as it doesn't need to transmit packet through internet.
There exists a driver for NiFi on Windows, and it was used (WiFi-me) to send homebrew to the DS via the Demo Download menu.

Do what pingouin7 told, use TGB_Dual or VBA-link (a modded version of VisualBoyAdvance) to link the games together.
I used that to link Zelda Oracle of Season/Ages.
But it's only to make a temporary exchange, and then put back the save on your console.

Edit:
*removed part talking about computer emulators*

I thought you said NesDS now added support for multiplayer through Nifi, that's why you asked for a compatible emulator on PC.
I thought "On PC", because NesDS is already an emulator, and if it added Wireless multiplayer support, then it would be done and working on the console the emulator was made for (the DS).

You can't expect to use a GBA emulator with Nifi support on (3)DS to launch another emulator (NES on GBA) without multiplayer support.
Well, it's a little confusing, maybe I didn't understood correctly :P

Yeah, I think there is a severe translation gap here somewhere.

At one point, NES DS had support for playing 2-player NES games using 2 DS systems, using Nifi. That feature is broken in newer versions, but it works in an older version. Janthran wants something similar for GB and GBC games -- in other words, he was asking if Lameboy supported Nifi like NES DS does (or did). Nothing about the GBA, nothing involving a PC, nothing involving NES on GBA.

Since the answer is that no, there is no Gameboy emulator for the DS that supports Nifi, the next-best option is to use a GB/GBC emulator on the PC to transfer save data between two emulated instances, as Pingouin7 described yesterday. This only works on emulators that support the link port.

NiFi support in Lameboy? I would seriously like to see that happen one day. :)

Anyway... I hope they manage to fix the issue with NiFi for NesDS though in a future update.
