The psv on min settings still looked much better than the 3ds (also on min settings). Point is that the psv would require more out of the battery per min/sec than the 3ds. I expected those results because it would have been really sad (for the 3ds on the whole) if the psv did last longer.....

None of these things changes the fact that the 3ds is still crap

them whats the point of the test if the psp have that battery ?
The other two consoles.
Uncharted doesn't use all the settings from the Vita from what was mentioned in the comments.

@SinHarvest24 there's no need to say the 3DS is crap, that's relative, both the Vita and 3DS are pretty good consoles on their own, just that both have crappy battery.

A lot of people called it bullshit due to the PSP's Battery lasting that long
The PSP in that test had an extended life battery. The tester mentioned it.

them whats the point of the test if the psp have that battery ?
The point is to show how long the Extended Life Battery holds its charge.

Not only that, I noticed that my own 200x holds up for about 6-7 hours on the standard battery anyways as long as the UMD drive is not used - that was the largest battery-monger in the set.

They should have clarified that in the description, they just said showcasing "the difference in battery life when comparing all 3 handhelds."
that's not fair to the vita or 3ds.

You can see that the PSP used is the Limited Edition Monster Hunter PSP 3000, clear as day, and this model has the extended battery as stock. Even if he didn't announce it to the world, it's pretty easy to pick this "small" detail up.

If you're talking about the 3ds have 2 screens i'll give you points on having surface area but it isn't that much more than the psv.

Also since i edited in that spoiler. Yes.

EDIT:Double quote?

It would be, but to someone like me who's never heard of the Limited Edition Monster Hunter PSP, I would have no clue why that symbol's there
Hence why saying there's an "extended battery in the psp" would have helped.

I'm guessing that he did, just in Wapanese... The moment I saw the PSP I knew it has an extended battery, so I guess it is a matter of extra research.

Even if he used a standard battery though, he'd still get a pretty good time:

2200mAh (Extended Battery Pack) = 9 hours
1800mAh (PSP100x Battery Pack) = 7,3 hours (1800*9/2200)
1200mAh (Standard 200x/300x Battery Pack) = 4,9 hours (1200*9/2200)

...so I'd say - not bad, not bad at all!

Finally! A decent test that measures the battery life on MINIMUM settings! If people are so concerned about the battery life of their consoles then why the hell do they compare them at their max settings? If playing for long periods of time is what you want then you're obviously going to make it last as long as you can and use the lowest settings possible.

Those results were pretty good considering the 3DS has two screens to power (which is about equivalent to one OLED screen IMO).

Also, about that test Veho posted: That wasn't a very fair test at all. They were running different games and using an extended battery.

...the 3DS has also considerably less "horses" under its hood that need to be fed with the battery charge, the fact that it worked longer than the Vita doesn't necessarily mean that it's power intake is more economical. ;)

Sorry, maybe I wasn't too clear. I was talking more opinion based rather than power based. What SinHarvest said about the PSV looking better is made up for by the fact that the 3DS has 2 separate screens.
