Hi,

I want to give something back to the community i dont want to give to someone that will fix and sell it on, i would rather give to someone that is active in the community that needs a dev machine without the fear of busting there own wii .

i have a faulty PAL Wii i bought , i only bought it to test out Softmodding on it before i went in and modded my sons wii he uses.(check my old posts on here)
i bought it knowing it had a tempermental drive in it, so i have never attempted to fix this so i assume this is still an issue. Anyways i installed homebrew channel, and CFG loader
as per Modmii,and made a nand backup so have the keys on another laptop if they are needed, i dont have the sd card anymore that was in the Wii (not sure if thats a problem)
Anycase, last time i tried to turn it on it turns on fine, but sometimes the system menu screen there is a crackling sound, turn if off and on a few times then it will go to the system
menu fine and i was loading games via cfg loader. Priloader was installed as well if it makes any difference. The System Menu is on 4.1
Was just wondering if anyone on here has any use for it, i am not looking to sell.

I am giving it away..i should cover postage as it wont be too much i dont think.......PAL Region would be preferable,


As for the bootmii as boot2 i done whatever was in the guide so i guess i done it....not sure how i would tell i will check out the guide when i get home

It doesn't have to be for free, and it seems more than natural that who gets it pays the shipping costs as well.

Crap, for the first time ever I wish I lived in the UK. I want a new Wii (or rather, and old Wii) for testing some brick recovery options for BLIND. My current Wii has bootmii as boot2, but I get tired of constantly making/restoring NAND backups for it.

Lol, it's fine. Shipping would probably be like $30 or something. It's very nice of you to offer though.

I bricked my Wii while trying to apply Hijill's patches to the HackMii installer (the RemoveAntiHaxx() patches work there, you just have to find the right memory locations), and now I can't do any more testing. Your donation would go towards further development of HBC patches if you'd send it to me, but you're better off sending it to anyone working on DML, as that's the only interesting Wii project atm.

I think this would be very beneficial to a lot of people hm...My first thought was XFlak but that's my own opinion could Crediar/OverJoy/obcd or jskwo; these are the main dev's I talk to not cause of lack of apps but cause I use their stuff more then anyone's.

EDIT: Just did a quick google search and only the second link I could find had anything to do aboot this. Though the concept is nice and I support it; I think the best thing to do is go aboot using an AIO app like PostLoader3 eh????

But it seems that right now, i'm the only one doing stuff there. And i don't need a 2nd Wii, i don't know how i should brick my Wii with DML and i can test everything on mine. If BootMii boot2 can be installed on this Wii, it would be interesting for some other DML dev who does not have a BootMii boot2 Wii.
