this is in mym format so use MyMenu along with with your base app for this was only tested on a 4.3u system have Bootmii and Priloader already installed (I hold no responsibilities for bricks use with caution)

WTF?!?!? I tried this and I was shocked that I did not get a BSOD withing the first 15 seconds.

Honestly, I've always been lost as to why people put the effort to make an OS look like another one (especially as shitty as a microsoft OS).

History has proven that the most used themes are original theme and the originally designed themes, but the ones that recreate a different OS are the ones that are least downloaded and used.

Just my honest opinion, but this will be forgotten about rather quickly, especially that it does not even really look all that good at all.

@DeadlyFoez: Quit trashing everybody else's work. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't good. Even if nobody uses it (and I'm not saying that's the case), that's no reason to put it down, especially when you can't do any better.

what you said may be true but keep in mind that its your opinion, not everyone else and that I already understand that this theme would not be to the liking of everyone. I just did it because no one else did it and I got one better than that im not completely happy with the way it turned out only because the limitations of what on can do with the wii.... bottom line if you don't like it don't download it or better yet make one yourself

im the same way im not into original themes but I HIGHLY respect their work, this really takes time...... seeing their work is what got me into wanting to theme the wii. I know mines don't look nothing like windows but I like how I was able to make certain tpl see through or partial see-through (or like Aero Glass) you know?

Are you trying to tell me that if I have a negative opinion or an opinion that differs from yours then I should not be allowed to speak about it and only people who have nice things to say should be allowed to speak their mind? Seriously, North Korea is your country then.

And because I can't do better (or in actuality I have just not cared to) does that mean I am not entitled to my opinion? I know I've read where you have complained about HBC's network bug a few times, so should you not be allowed to have an opinion about it since you certainly could never do better?

I actually liked more about the theme than I wanted to (similar to deadly, Im quite allergic to winblows) but...

Heres the thing, and what Im about to 'suggest' would probably defeat the whole idea of this theme.
If you were to remove the "wiindows" texts and keep them original, as well as remove the winblows icons on the empty channels - I at least would actually consider getting the theme, and I do believe some other people share that opinion.
I like the icons and the background, they look very good. So good job on that!

But since Im no fan of winblows (staring at it day in and day out as it is, curse you work!) I could never live with the windows icons on my empty channels and the "wiidows" texts.

for a first ever attempt and less than a weeks work it looks great yes theres lots that could be improved or done differently but still for a first time theme its better than some others ive seen

OP: Would it be possible to continue/evolve this mod and make the layout look more like this:

Im sure there was a method (somewhere on this site) for squaring off the wii tv screens, and a nice clean modern interface would go down a treat.

As a kinect pisstake I bet it could gain quite some kudos.

EDIT: btw I realise it wouldnt look like that at all, but applying its style and shape to the existing wii layout could look decent.
