iDevices that are compatible with this UNTETHERED Jailbreak [5.0.1 r1,r2]:

iPhone 3GS Newer BootROM. iPhone 4 GSM/CDMA. iPod Touch 3G. iPod Touch 4G. iPad 1G WiFi/WiFi+3G.

You'll be good to go if you have these avaliable devices. BTW Just to tell everyone the difference between A4 and A5.
A4 is slower than A5. And A4/A5 have different bootroms. That's why GeoHotz Limera1n exploit DOES NOT Work with A5 Devices. But Pod2G's does because it is a Software and user-land exploit. Based on vulnerabillities on the current firmware (5.0.1).

1. Preparing/Download:
In order to Jailbreak your iDevice. You have to download the following programs :

1. Redsn0w 0.9.10b3 [Untethered 5.0.1 Jailbreak. Put together by the iPhone Dev Team]:
Windows
Macintosh
Or if you want to do a complete restore WITH a Custom Jailbroken .ipsw :

Or Windows [Sn0wbreeze] After jailbroken with Sn0wbreeze you'll have to go on search in Cydia. And search "Corona" And install it. Making your iDevice Untethered.

After that, Steps of preparing!!!

1. Get your iDevice ready.
2. Make sure you have a 30-pin dock connector - USB connector from iDevice to computer.

For Windows right-click on RedSn0w and change compatability to "Window XP" this WILL fix the problem for people who's iDevice is NOT jailbroken OR rebooting after RedSn0w fail exploiting.

After all the required steps. MOAR STEPS!!!! :

1. Open RedSn0w with administrator rights [ONLY ON WINDOW OS].
2. Press "Jailbreak".
3. You need WiFi connection for this. RedSn0w is NOW Downloading the .ipsw for you to Jailbreak.
4. RedSn0w should prompt you after 5 minutes well for me... And tell you to go in DFU Mode
[DEVICE FIRMWARE UPGRADE MODE]
5. RedSn0w WILL have on-screen instructions (3 sec sleep, 10 sec both and 15 sec home)
6. Preparing Ramdisks.
7. Exploiting Pod2G's "CORONA" Into iDevice.
8. Reboot after....
9. Cydia will be on the second page of your SpringBoard!
10. When you enter Cydia. It should prompt you with "Who Are You" Question
11. Enjoy your jailbroken iDevice and Cydia 1.1.3!

1. How-To Add Cydia sources in order to install packages [APP]:
1b. Open Cydia.
2. Navigate to Manage>Sources>Edit [Top right corner]>Add [Top left corner].

With the recent release of the jailbreak most of the big repos are getting hammered as people rejailbreak their device for the untether. It normally takes a while to refresh but not 5 minutes.

So I see now. But when the link was broken, it looked to me like it was to a torrent of a custom IPSW.
