I’m not sure if this is the right section to post this, so please if its not just move it accordingly. thank you :)

Before you all start shooting with answers I personally know that usb loading is much more faster and convenient to use as I already use that method and also I know that the best DVD media to use is the Verbatim DVD-R using imgburn @ x4 speed
All I want to know is if there is a chart or list with good dvd’s and which to avoid ? so in the future I will have more choice to use

Your help is much appreciated

Verbatim DVD-R burned at 4x speed with ImgBurn is the best way to burn a game for the wii drive. You can also use Sony DVD-R discs burned the same way. I had some heavy problems with some cheap dvd pack, no idea which brand they were.

obviously yes already tried google
It really is not obvious to assume that you already tried google because most people here seem to have never heard of it and tend to ask questions that have already been answered 500 times. You're an exception. :D

I'm a try first, ask later guy, check my join date and check my few posts, :)
I ask questions when im really desperate to
besides I have been following this great site since then and learned lots of stuff on softmodding and other things too

Quality of burns is'nt only affected by dvd brand.
Also the DVD drive manufacturer in combination with the media is very important.

As a rule Verbatim DVD's and Tayo-Yuden are very good choices IF they produce good burns with the used burner.

Now, I dont know how kinky the Wii is with DVDs compared to xbox, gc and 360.
But Ive used almost exclusively Memorex and Maxell DVD-R and never had a bad burn (ok, once when I fucked up the settings, but that was my own fault lol).

I used DVD-R and DVD+R for GC back-ups but i didn`t had any problems. I tried with many types of DVD and i think if your burner is ok(LG and ASUS is mine) discs should be readable in your Wii.

I'm using Sony DVD-R, came with a free downloadable movie (didn't use it, they all suck), 2 pack of 20 each, for about $20, bought it because it was the Cheapest at Walmart (or Target, I forget).
