Wiimote Plus Blue&Pink set is sold in Japan, but they didn't work in Homebrew channel or other Homebrew applications.
Many people are reporting about this problem in Japan.
Wiimote Plus Blue&Pink set:
http://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B005TESLB2

It works in system menu and Wii games, but when HBC is booted the pointer disappeared and I can't operate Wiimote.
Normal Wiimote works correctly.

I just bought a black Wii Remote Plus from a local Target here in the states and am having the same issues.

The remote works fine in the main menu but once you start HBC or USBLoader the wiimote shuts off and is unusable.
I was however able to use a second older remote to navigate the menus and start a game, at which point the wiimote plus became functional again.

It is also unable to connect to Dolphin. Windows is able to connect via bluetooth fine but it shows up as "RVL-CNT-01-TR" instead of "RVL-CNT-01" and Dolphin doesn't recognize it.

I have a Wii Remote Plus from a Black Wii recently bought and I've had no difficulty using HBC or USBLoader. Hope this will help with the 'investigation'.

I have a black wiiremote plus and never had any issues with HBC. I haven't tried my new gold one yet, but I would expect that to work fine too. Unless there's something different about the Japanese hardware. Which I doubt considering even the US models have japanese writing on them

I'm having this problem too with the new black remote plus.

I found this : http://www.wiihacks.com/general-homebrew-hack-issues/96393-problem-wii-remote-plus-combined-homebrew-apps-not-working.html

Its pretty much saying the newer (Nov+) remote plus wont work in HBC and some apps.

Non-Working Wii Remote Plus Codes:
Black: LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C4
Black: LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C6

Working Wii Remote Plus Codes:
Black: LMB-RVL-WR/M-C0

I have the LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C4 and i can confirm it doesnt work in HBC or cfg usb loader :(

Having this same problem, my new Wiimote is Black: LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C4
I'm f'ing pissed. I wish I knew about this beforehand or I never would have given Gamestop my money. It was bad enough that I missed out on the Gold Wiimote because I didn't preorder :-(
temp fix for me is using the gc controller to navigate. Is this a permanent issue, or is there a chance that HBC update will fix this?
also editing posts here really sucks with all these paragraph tags

It's actually kind of weird for me. My Gold Wii Remote+ from Skyward Sword doesn't connect to my Wii at first. I can't use it to power it on, and it'll only work on the menu or in other games if I use a different remote to select reconnect and then connect the gold remote. It won't work at all in homebrew apps since there's no reconnect option available (and pressing 1 and 2 doesn't work.) BUT, it connects automatically and works like normal when I open up Skyward Sword.

Black: LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C4
Got this. Would not work on HBC or usbloader.

Had to use older wiimote, start loader and when game load, turn on Black: LMB-RVL-WR/Z-C4. Barcode 045496890599
Is there a way to know if the WM is going to be Black: LMB-RVL-WR/M-C0 by looking at the box?

Hi guys,

I have the exact same problem, but mine is white and I bought it from Amazon Europe.
This isn't a real fix, but it might help if you play backup games:
http://gbatemp.net/t...on-controllers/

Hmm so i tired and installed Wiigsc.

I cant get it to work with cfg usb loader. Does it work yet?
I tried a bunch of various setting but when I click on the installed channel its thinks for about 20 seconds then returns to the Wii main menu.

running cfg usb loader v70 on a ntfs drive with wbfs files on ios 248

anyone know how to get this to work on cfg usb loader?

Where is your Cfg folder stored, and what is it named?

usb:/apps/USBloader
usb:/usb-loader (i guess this is more the configurator tool)
Well if your Cfg dol is stored on an NTFS partition, that would explain it. You should be using FAT32 if you want full compatibility. There is no reason to use NTFS if your HDD is soley for the Wii.

If you don't want to change to FAT32, I suggest you put Cfg on an SD card.
