PSVita or Wii U

Well i cant make up my mind, so which one to get in the new year guys? PSVita? or a Wii U.

Im going for the Wii U, actually the next Zelda is the one forcing me to buy a Wii U XD and of course the upcoming Mario games is a must have It depends what you like, if you like the zelda games or family games i would go for the WII U, if you want more serious games then go for the Vita.

I don't suppose a PSV can make Ezio Auditore show up in 1/1 size in front of you and kill a guard in real time, or make Florence look like in Ezio's time. Seriously now, gaming is gamin, no matter on what console you play. PSV or Wii U, both of them play games, so, both of them are real gaming. Just cause one doesn't have gore and the other doesn't have Zelda doesn't mean one is better than the other. I'd personally wait for the consoles to be released and have good games released on them, before I'd speak. But, considering Zelda is my favorite series, I'd probably go for Wii U.

By the way, why are you comparing a handheld and a home console?

That looks totally like Family-oriented gaming.

But back to the subject at hand...

Both.

VITA allows top-of-the-shelf gaming on the go while the WiiU will remain the most powerful home console on the market for at least 2 years after its release, plus the tablet-like controller allows superb control over multimedia functions and web browsing on the big screen, so it's pretty much a media center and a home console at the same time.

Win-Win.

Probably because the Vita is at least released somewhere so a freakin' opinion can be formed.
While we're at it, can some people tell me if I should pick Nintendo's 53rd console, the PS7 or a rock with an LED screen? Plz I can't has decide?

Depends on what sytems you already have and what your planning to do with it.

Me personally, I'll probably eventually get a Wii U, but not at launch, maybe 1-2 year later. But then I already have a Wii and 3DS, it would be different if I had different systems/needs.

Gameplay on the wiiu seen better that any thing the vita can do as what vita does is already been done

Wiiu is is not a mobile device like the vita so no gaming on the go with wiiu

Vita seem to be the usual sony handheld that is not bad but at the same time is not good

Fanboy-ism to the max. Why are you people comparing a handheld to a console? For now, you should wait as some Vita issues has been reported which could be hardware issues, so if I were you I'd wait. The Vita nor the Wii U are released outside Japan. Do NOT take anyone's opinion on here as I've seen so many fanboy wars between the members on GBATemp, so I recommend you to go with your own opinion and what you want as you may regret it in the future.
