I find that funny because the ps3 was $599 us dollars when it first launch.Hmm dunno ... i am very very unstatisfied with Nintendo over the last few years, and the Wii U doesn't appeal to me even a bit atm.
I think this will be the first Nintendo Console ever (those that were available here) that i will not get ... think i will change to the next xbox or playstation -.-V they are not perfect as well but i have the feeling nintendo just doesn't get it that its more important to make their customers happy with good games and aceptable pricing instead of just worriing for their own profit.
This. I hate to pay for stuff.I hope they give it to us for free. Or even pay us to take one.
That all Nintendo be doing is trying to get good games and acceptable price console.
They are set group of people that trying to make them do more than that. ie. better online, hd , pc-like hardware, etc
Some people basically want Nintendo sell PC-like hardware at a lost.

Blu-ray and HD tech was, as far as I know, very expensive at that time. It was like at least about S$1,500 that time to enjoy a simple HD experience (over in SG).And if I'm reading correctly, basically it was dumb selling the PS3 for $600 (which is agreed) but it'd be alright for Nintendo to sell for $600 despite the fact it basically is bringing the same things to the table that the PS3 did? Better hardware, better online, and HD?
You missed the point. He's saying people want Nintendo to sell PC level hardware, and they want them to sell it at a loss. Which is a sentiment I hear echoed around here from time to time, that Nintendo should ditch all it's gimmicks and play exactly the same game that Sony/Microsoft do.That all Nintendo be doing is trying to get good games and acceptable price console.

PC like hardware? Yeah, sure. I'd like you to link me to the Wii U specs and then I'll make up my mind. Or have someone else make it up for me.
Also, their "better online, hd, pc-like hardware" is basically just them coming late to the game and trying to catch up on features that their competition has had rooted into their consoles from the beginning.

The PS3 could also play Blurays right out of the box. There are quite a few people who invested in one for that as a big reason, the games and stuff are just extra.
Remember Nintendo started the console race last time. They aren't late to the game, they're behind the game. I just hope there isn't a replay this time.PC like hardware? Yeah, sure. I'd like you to link me to the Wii U specs and then I'll make up my mind. Or have someone else make it up for me.
