R4i V1.49b Update:
1.Support 3DS v3.0.0-5j Please goto "setting/upgrade" to upgrade frimware.
2. Fix recreate save file issues due to NDS filename big/small capital letter problem.
3. Improve unkown new games loading routine (to avoid errcode=-4 problem).
4. New hints screen, presss "START" to view hints.

I tried to flash 2 cards R4i-SDHC 3DS with the New Firmware above.
I get the new icon The Chronicles of Narnia Etc.
But when I click on new Icon it just goes to white screen, no menu.
Is file good or bad flash, What? Are cards now Toast?

Same thing here. Both on my DS Lite and 3DS. I had to upgrade the card on my DS as it wouldn't work on my 3DS. Also, all the official downloads links on http://r4i-sdhc.com/downloade.asp have been down for a while. Well, since last night at least. Hmmm..

www.r4i-sdhc.com are relatively new to the reflashing of carts and TBH haven't perfected the process yet (it appears that there are different batches of carts with differing compatibility to the update process). Hopefully they will have a fix for the flashing problems in the coming days. As for the links being down then that's probably due to the flashing issues and the fact that they are trying to fix things.

Well. 1.50b (english only for now, it seems) is out, but what am I supposed to do with it? Whatever I do, I boot to a white screen. I reformatted the SD card and copied 1.50b. Can't even get there. Is there any way to "force" the update somehow?

I have the same problem.
I have emailed www.r4i-sdhc.com there info email address on there site.
Waiting to here from them if there is someway to repair cards & if not, if
they are prepared to replace my 2 cards for free as this was there fault
if the cards are toast! I suggest you do the same & we'll see how good
there customer service is & if they stand behind there product.

Thanks I found the download.
Repaired both my white screen cards & 3 other cards that wouldn't show an update using 1.50b.
