I can confirm that. The language of my console is set to French, but when I launch this game it runs in English.

Played this for a few hours last night with @T-Pie, brilliant game. Very fun, kinda tricky at first as we hadn't played the series before. But still very fun, will definitely be playing again and again.

So, is this an updated rerelease of the original for NDS?

It is, but it's more like a 1.5 version of it. They've done the same thing with their PS2/PSP versions. They make the first game, and then they remake the game with some new courses, shuffle a few characters around, and drop some old courses. Here they rearranged the Yoshi's Island, added in several new maps, and some other stuff. I haven't played it all too much, but it's pretty much like the Sony versions in terms of "updating"

Too bad you can't save in multiplayer for some reason... which really was the most fun part before.

Is anyone else having a problem with their system freezing when you quit out of this game? It'll freeze when you hit home and go back to the wii menu or if you hit home again and go back into the game. I'm using cfg usb loader (d2x v7, 4.1u) but it even happens when I play it off the disc. The game plays fine otherwise.
