So, I have never taken the time to ever sign up with Club Nintendo or register any game, but now that they are offering Kid Icarus for free I am trying to put all my information into it.

I successfully registered Ocarina of Time because there was a little insert inside that had a code, but I don't see anything similar for Street Fighter IV. I assume wherever the code is it has to be inside, because anyone could use it if it were on the outside of the box. I purchased the game new but the only thing inside is a single instruction manual. There is a code for Capcom's "Unity" service, but there isn't any information about Club Nintendo.

Has anyone ever registered this game? How do you do it?

Oh, one other question: can I register the actual 3DS system itself?

(I have Super Mario 3DS Land which would work for a 2nd game, but I have NO idea where I put the case...)

Thanks for any help!

I suppose its *possible* it was a repack but I highly doubt it. I purchased it "new" from a local stop called "Vintage Games." It was sealed it plastic, no save data on the game, not a single mark or bend on case/instruction manual, etc. I'm pretty sure it was new...

Does anyone who has purchased this game remember if inside the case there was more than just a single (thick) instruction manual? Does anyone remember registering the game?

Thank you.

As far as I know 3rd party games for 3DS only came with club nintendo codes in Europe/Australia (not sure about Japan), at least till just a little bit ago. Apparently they just started putting codes in American 3rd party games, starting with WWE All-Stars and Sonic Generations. I have SSFIV3D, DoAD, Rayman 3D, and Ridge Racer 3D all of which were purchased brand new unopened (not gamestop new) and on their launch dates, and none of them came with club nintendo codes.

Thanks, evvil. That kind of sucks, I suppose. Oh well.

I'm a little pissed about wasting $43 bucks (with tax) on Street Fighter IV anyway. I purchased not much longer than a month ago. It retailed For $39.99 around then (I'm pretty sure.) Just a week or two ago during "Black Friday" time I checked some websites that showed the retail price was $29.99. Amazon was selling it for $14.99. There goes the re-sale value on that game...

I can't believe how much money I've already dumped into this system (several retail games and a bunch of DSiware games), and what I find myself playing mostly are DS games and emulators on my flashcart. Super Mario 3D Land was, admittedly, very fun but I've already done everything you can do in that game, except play it again...

you may need a new hobby if you go through games that quick.
Also SF is one of those games that are good or bad depending on who you play. need an opponent?

Wow, I though all 3rd party games didn't have codes. Nintendo of America thanks a lot for this crap. I've got 4 3DS games and could only register 2 (Mario Kart and OoT) and if I can't get another freebee for the 3DS I'm not gunna be happy.
