If they do make a new Zelda in 3 years, then it will probably be about that long before I buy a Wii U. I'm not currently interested in home consoles and more into portable gaming at the moment, so no rush to get another console.

They went all out with Skyward Swords....Im really interested in seeing where the next console Zelda can go from that, but Nintendo ceases to amaze as far as Zelda is concerned.

Slightly off topic, but after seeing them fully utilizing the Wii for Skyward Swords, I'm really interested to see what the do with this new 3DS Zelda

We already got a game that was pretty close to Ocarina of Time with Twilight Princess. Twilight Princess is still my favourite Zelda game, but after playing Skyward Sword I actually want them to experiment more.

This is just a matter of opinion. I don't even see Ocarina of Time in the top 5 Zelda games.

I read "three years" as a joke on that interview.

Anyway Miyamoto has said that he wants to personally make the Wii U Zelda (maybe he has some big new idea) rather than just produce next time so I don't think Aonuma has much say with it. Not counting Four Swords Adventures it would be the first he directed since Ocarina of Time.

OT: i could care less on how long it takes to make, as long as i dont have to play another WW or another TP.

I think he's talking about the Wii version that incorporated waggle-control, whereas the Gamecube version did not.
