So, what series are in it?
Ben 10 (all three shows, that is), Chowder, Powerpuff Girls, Flapjack, KND, Foster's, Dexter, Billy and Mandy, Samurai Jack, Captain Planet and Johnny Bravo.

You guys are all pissed about no wifi?? KNOW WHAT MAKES ME RAGE? NO ED'S! Fuck you, Cartoon Network, I want at least one Ed in this game. :hateit:

Bonus points for Johnny Bravo and Captain Planet though...

This game is pretty cool. It could have used some polish though. It plays of a mix of Dream Fighters & Smash Bros. It has Dream fighter-like controls & gameplay, but looks and feels like Smash 64. This is really good. It is much better than Brawl too. Brawl has that stupid gang [censored] AI, while this doesn’t (which is why I don’t play brawl). The CPU will fight each other. I’d recommend it if you like CN’s older cartoons.

The only downside is, it could use more polish. The game looks like a Gamecube game. Grabbing does not feel right, shoot, it does not even look right. When you grab a character, they float over their hands. Audio is very badly compressed. It sounds like MDK2 on Wiiware. I also would have liked diagonal attacks too (up right, down left, ect). Jumping is also weird. In some stages, it does not feel like you can recover, while in other stages you can die from jumping too high. I did it with HIM.

Speaking of stages, some are hit and miss. I do not like it when the stage gets destroyed making the stage much small. The Powerpuff Girls stage is a good example. Think of it as Saffron City from smash 64. During the fight, the stage will get destroyed, making it smaller. The stage would turn out to be Saffron City. Out of the 3 building in that stage, take away two of them. It becomes really small to fight on with 4 players. Not all of the stages do this do, but Annoying none-the-less.

Assist trophies are odd too, and last way too long, along with assist attacks too. They turn into Wario-Man or Super Sonic in terms of Brawl.

It sounds like they got some of the real voice actors this time. Flapjack sounds spot on, unlike the 3DS version. This game feels like Smash 64 for the most part. A bit broken, but still super fun to play.

Overall, In terms of smash rip offs, TMNT does it better, but this is still pretty fun. Worth a buy or try if you like Cartoon Network’s older series.

(sorry for the odd breaking up. I didnt want a wall of text.)

That gang thing only happens at a certain level in brawl. Also the 3ds version has that. :/

What level do you play on CNPT on the console?

Well, I played around a bit & it seems in the console version, they don't gang [censored] you. I'm glad they fixed this. I even did 5 matches on hard, and we broke off into pairs of 2.

I am by no means a Smash Bros aficionado but this seems like a decent ripoff with TONS of CN characters, some mildly obscure. From what I've played so far, the story mode seems pretty damn fleshed out. Decent interpretations of the various shows, serviceable graphics, even George Lowe reprising Tad Ghostal as narrator. I grew up with this shit
