Good news about Metroid 5

About 30 minutes ago, I just start to think if they will start to work on Metroid 5. I just look up in Metroid Wikitroids about Metroid Dread. They seem start work on 2010 but they will release the game any time so that mean we don't know exact come out. So we will wait until great news about Metroid Dread.

how is this good news, the story in other M is utter garbage with so much hate on the game there's no way Nintendo would have then release another metroid game, in fact I would say it's bad news if metroid dread was released as Samus would once again be a total wimp that can't think for herself and has TO BE TOLD WHEN SHE IS ALLOWED TO USE A WEAPON, god that game was bad. I'm assuming of course that the story of metroid dread will be similar if not a continuation of metroid other M. I also mean this as no offense to OP this is just a short rant on other M

Quite a few Metroid games have been cancelled. If Nintendo does bring back the series, it will be on the Wii U and maybe the 3DS.

They've already stated multiple times that Metroid Dread has long been dead and will never be released. I don't know why they suddenly changed their mind, but my guess is it's either bad info (It is a wiki page after all) or they made a rash statement.

But what about Metroid 4, Metroid Fusion mention in ending? "See you next mission!" About Metroid: Other Mission (M), I am sure this is how Adam dead in there because it mention in Metroid 4 that Samus mention Adam and computer didn't know who is Adam. When I see Samus mention Adam, I didn't know who is he until Metroid Other M release. I hope Metroid 5 have tell story how happen to Samus turn to suit armor thing.

There are 2 rumors game. Metroid 64 and Metroid 2: Return to Samus Aran DX. If they will work on Metroid Dread, I am pretty sure Wii U or 3DS. Or wait new nintendo system release in the future.

"M" didn't stand for Mission, it's a reference to the other Mother Brain.

At the beginning of the game (and the end of it's prequel), Samus destroyed Mother Brain. In secret, the Galactic Federation created another Mother Brain. She was given the name Mellisa Bergman (also MB like Mother Brain).

The title had more references to Mother Brain as well, such as swapping Other and M to create "Mother", and MOM being an acronym for Metroid: Other M

The younger of the two women who you see (Mellissa) is an artificial Mother Brain. She originally thought that she was the daughter of the older one (Madeline), which is why the share the same last name. She eventually loses her innocence (if that's what you could call it, she was a machine after all) and takes on the role of Mother Brain, which demands complete control.

I may be slightly off on the details as it has been about 8 months since I last played it, but I suggest you watch some of the cutscenes again and it will all fall into place.

The storyline was rather confusing, not so much because it was full of twists, but rather that the dialog was just terrible. Most of the time they used way too many words to say a simple thing, so it was hard to keep track of everything.

Yeah I agree. I hope Metroid Dread is not same thing with Metroid Other M storyline. Cause people confuse between of them.
