i just downloaded the game i have been waiting for onto my r4 and it gives me errcode i downloaded this rom 6 times from different websites some1 help me with this problem

The problem probably not with the ROM but with your carts kernel. What cart are you using i.e. the webaddress? and what version of it's kernel are you using or are you using RGF MultiCart Update?

i use r4i-dshc it does not support r4i sdhc,only the clones like r4ill r4i gold so im already using the newest firmware i have this problem with wipeout 2 too

The problem is you have a crap cart that IF you have the 1.4.3 version hasn't had it's kernel updated since August or if you have the other version hasn't been updated for over 12 months. Try getting RGF Multicart Update to work on your cart if it doesn't work then you need to buy a decent cart and not a cheap fake R4.

You can only use kernels (they are called kernels not firmware as firmware is completely different) that are made for that cart. You can use RGF Multi Cart Update as a dual boot (load your carts kernel then boot TTMenu) all you have to do is copy the files from the R4-SDHC_R4i-SDHC folder in the archive to the root of your cart. This will allow you to play more modern games but in reality you should get a decent flashcart.


If I remember rightly didn't you have an r4i-yes cart? If so the irony is that that has a more up-to-date kernel than the cart you have now.

Rather than calling them R4 or R4i's it would be clearer for anyone trying to help you if you referred to them by their webaddress. That way we know which carts and kernels you are on about.

As I've already said and as it says in the "Known carts that can use DSTT Firmware.txt" file

R4i SDHC Upgrade Revolution - www.R4i-dshc.com (Use R4-SDHC_R4i-SDHC folder)

DO NOT use any files from any other folder just use the ones from the R4-SDHC_R4i-SDHC TT Menu folder. If you are struggling on what to do follow the instruction in the "How To Install.txt" file in the R4-SDHC_R4i-SDHC TTMenu folder.

i just remembered that i tried each rom i downloaded on no$gba and it said rom image has crashed

No$gba cannot always run the latest roms either.

O.K. then you need to change where you get your ROMs from.

I've played all the levels and collected all the character tokens, hats, and red bricks, completed the duelling levels but I'm still missing Kingsly Shacklebolt and am 98.7% complete so I'm stuck on the last 1.3% and what I've missed.

Can't tell you as it's against forum rules. However if you use google I'm sure you'll find a working ROM.
