Is that for the Nintendo DS?

Did you make a back up folder for your files? If not, well...bad news. There's no way to retrieve them back. You could at least replace your SD Card cause sometimes its the SD card that causes the corruption.

If you delete a file, it's not gone forever, it's only marked to be deleted and may be overwritten by any data on the card. The corruption however, makes things worse, because the file ain't what it was before, thus programs might not recognize it as a valid file. Most file recovery programs can retrieve deleted files, and sometimes corrupt files, the biggest drawbacks of these programs are that they usually only work with common file types, like jpegs or word docs. It's not impossible to retrieve the data, however, if you want to do it for free, it will cost you a lot of time and effort to retrieve the data and piece it back together. you can also contact a company that will retrieve your data, however, the prices can be insane, especially for a file as small as a save file.

tl;dr Not impossible, but will cost you either a lot of time, or a lot of money

sandisk makes the best sd cards... but that doesn't mean they have a 0% failure rate, lol.

It doesn't run on the Wii, everyone is trying to help u recover the gamesave that was backed up to the now corrupted sd card.

Unless u have a nand backup of your Wii before deleting the savefile, your only chance at recovering it is by retrieving it from the corrupted sd card. And if u don't have a nand backup... u should make one asap. There aren't any tools to recover deleted gamesaves from the Wii directly.

o well there goes me playing hard mode than the sd card is completely fried.

The SD card is not unusable. Try connecting your SD card to your pc first, run a recovery program and see if it detects the SD card (if it ain't recognized by windows, most recovery programs still recognize it as an SD card). If you format your SD card, you can use it, unless it still won't work after formatting or if you get CRC errors from recovery programs. Only format AFTER you tried recovering your files, you might actually be able to save the files.

Like already stated, even if nothing appears to happen when you insert the card, a lot of recovery programs can still access it.
