Gaming How to download another file when my IP is already downloading one?

Filesonic claims I'm currently downloading a file, but I'm not. I even unplugged my modem for 30 seconds, reboot my computer, etc. It's not my family, they don't download stuff. I can't download the LAST out of 9 files I need... Help? What do I do? I tried a proxy, it wouldn't start the download...

No clue but why not just have a friend download your last file and up it somewhere else?

Use Jdownloader. It has an IP reset button to get around this exact problem.

Ah found it, I'm very, eh, mad now. Lol. Why didn't I know about this earlier? Thanks.

You need to set it up first. Look in Settings, Modules, Reconnection.
Then "Create Reconnection Script".


The button with 2 blue arrows in a circle will reset your IP.

Too bad it doesn't work on people who have a static IP.

even so, jdownloader will at least hold the download and keep re-attempting until it goes through.

i like to use posts where links are interchangeable, then i can download three or four chunks at once.
