So, right. I'm stuck on a problem. I have downloaded a Skyward Sword ISO; here is where I got it. So I managed to get myself to fix the #002 Error, however, now I need to fix the #001 error. I have tried to get GWP to patch the ISO, but when I try to find the 001/002 errors, it just says that it cannot find anything.

Hawlp me. I really want to try the Game out. D:

Well....... How are you running it? Disc or USB? What loader are you using? How did you mod your Wii? How long ago was this?

If you post a sysCheck it would be easier to point at whats wrong.

I am using a Dvd-R, it had worked fine for other Games. I'm sorry, but what is sysCheck?

Hm, by the look of the log, it looks like your Wii is not softmodded. Is that correct?
If so, I guess you have just chipped your Wii, in which case I will step away from this topic, as I have no knowledge of Wii chips :P

Uh? Nay, my Wii is soft modded using SmashStack. I actually have little knowledge of what to do, because all I have done was using Neogamma (now using Neogamma rev6 for #002 fix) to play nGC games.

Yea ok. Do what Pong said :)
That should solve all your issues.

ModMii is extremely easy to use.

I dragged the file to ModMii. Now I'm stuck again. What am I supposed to get out of that mess?

OK, so I have no idea on what to do, I tried some stuff but it still gives me the Error #001 when trying to launch the Game

EDIT: Im moving forward.... But I am afraid that this will not fix the 001 problem at all. But with the SD card, what do I need to do now?

OK, I have done it - nothing was worth it. Nothing has even changed and I still get the #001 Error when trying to load up Skyward Sword. Honestly, my question was : How to get rid of the #001 error? Because GWP will not RECOGNIZE any 001 error protections!!!

You are using a very old version of neogamma . Use the one here & see if it works . Also you shouldn't use GWP anymore it is useless with the latest neogamma & might even break the iso of new games .

personally i'd update your wii to system 4.3, then use letterbomb to re-get the homebrew channel and/or bootmii. Then install d2x via the d2x installer (which is the easiest way to put the cios back on) then get the latest version of neogamma and problem solved...

Mind you, I dunno how safe it is to use the official update when you've mucked about with the system that much with modmii... I don't see why it would be dangerous, but if you manage to update fine if you do what I say you'll be able to play the game for sure. I've done it to 4 wii's so far, one brand new black one, 3 old white ones. one wouldn't load the game like yours still I updated it to 4.3

Do I have any idea? It is my cousin who decided to homebrew my Wii just to play his RE4 (didnt work out anyway). I just kept it because of the NGC isos.

(btw, I actually have no idea on how to install the WADs onto the Wii >_>)

Okay if you already got the wads downloaded from ModMii then copy the WAD folder downloaded to the root of your sd card , get MMM , open MMM through hbc , go to the wad manger in it & install them all .

Thanks. I have them installed, but it just leaves me where I have started - with a damn black screen/error/whatever shows up after booting the game.. Siiighhgh... Do you reccomend Sayargh's method and if so, give me Link's to helpful information that I could use?

Sorry for being such prick (if I am). It's just that for days I have waited for the ISO to download, then for das tried figuring out how to make it work. I'm just kinda pissed right now.

What?! Now i get an "DVD-R + no cIOS!" error!! What am I supposed to do now?

Lol. Do you really have a modchip? If yes, it's a really weird one.

Instead of doing a bunch of stuff without knowning why and what for, i suggest to install d2x v6 with base IOS56 to slot 249. To do that, get ModMii, create a wad for said cIOS, and then install it with WAD Manager. Select IOS236 in WAD Manager when asked to select an IOS.

After that, get the latest NeoGamma version:
http://gbatemp.net/topic/219243-neogamma-r9-beta-test/

If you still get 001 errors, then your chip needs an update. If there's no update, there would one solution left, but it wouldn't work out.

[that solution would be to use cIOS rev7, yes rev7 not d2x v7! With that, you don't get 001 errors, but it's unlikely to work with a new game like Skyward Sword, because it's base IOS36]
