Might as well start the topic. What's needed to run SS on the Wii? I have a 4.2u Wii with cios rev 19. Should I modmii this thing? And how would I go about updating without a firmware update? I think it was a syscheck?

Tested on: 4.3E + cIOS249[56]-d2x-v6 + .wbfs on NTFS
Loader settings: USBLoader GX + 002 fix "Anti" + Block IOS reload "auto"

Game runs fine.

I tested it extensively on UNEEK+DI r169 with a virgin 4.3U nand, and the game runs perfectly there.
I also briefly tested it on my real NAND (USBLoader GX on 4.2U w/ cIOS249[56]-d2xv6) and the game seemed to run okay there too.

I'm pretty sure it is public.
Pretty sure you are wrong, the author always gets pissed when people post that link.
Sorry then, I assumed it was public. anyway, how DO you turn block ios reload on?
Every loader is different. I only use cfg usb loader and it is in the settings. I strongly suggest this loader as it is the best.
thanks for the heads up.

Actually USBL GX has a higher compatibilty now AND can save all your saves directly to your SD card ( built in NAND Emulation WOOT~!!). ( keeps your Wii nice and clean)
And it has in my opinion better security for kids ( can lock down the lader with pass directly from the app )
Also USBL GX can load games from disc, HDD and DVD.
And a FAR better GUI. And official channel.
ANd VERY stable Latest full version is 2.3
No need for a PC app like the cfg configurator, all options are available through the GUI wich is a big plus IMHO.
CFG used to be on top, but now USBL GX is for sure.

It runs one game that Cfg doesn't.

Included in Cfg

I disagree, but that's personal. Cfg, like just about everything else, also has an official channel
ANd VERY stable Latest full version is 2.3
Almost like Cfg :P
No need for a PC app like the cfg configurator, all options are available through the GUI wich is a big plus IMHO.
No, GX just has fewer options. All the main ones are included in Cfg, it's just the extras that are in Configurator
CFG used to be on top, but now USBL GX is for sure.
Wrong

Works well on :

USB Loader GX (v2.3)
D2X v7 (yes it's a public beta; I think it was v7.1D or something like that)
Setting to "Block IOS Reloading: Auto"
Softmodded Wii 4.3U

Anyways been playing now for a while and it's been great. I loved "Thank you for purchasing!" at the beginning too lol I was waiting to buy the game but as long as it's out early I might as well put that $50 towards a WiiU or something else.
