He still has a point, motion control can be less immersive in many occasion. With a gamecube controller, you can lie down, relax, and let yourself be Link, you'd be totally in the game and forget the controller.

Now, you always have to keep a "correct position", aim right, think about the correct sword position ... It can be fun, but it's much more likaly to remind you of the wiimoteyou are holding and distract you from the game.

No you can lie down on your sofa playing this game no problem.
Just be aware on where you sword is positioned and where you are opposed to your enemy's . not different then other games.
Did you play the DEMO?

I did play the demo. Don't get me wrong, they work in a wonderfull way.
But even killing a spider with the sword was a challenge.

As soon as you go too fast, you have to recenter using down, so you can't go fast. It makes everything slower to me.

It was the same with the boss fight, took me a very long time since you now have to figure out from which of the several direction to strike him in each form.

It may just be getting used to the new controls, and i'm sure i'll still like the game, but i have to admit if i were to be given the possibity of plugging my GCC controller and play with TWW controls, i wouldn't even think twice before doing it.

That demo build was from 2010.

That's good to known, hopefully, they'll have refined them a bit then.

I hope they will also have put back the B-objects on B on the final version, moving them to A feel just weird to me.

I mean, in the demo, you use B to get the bow out, then you have to use A to fire an arraw (using B again cancel the bow).

B should get the bow out, then B should fire, and A should be the cancel option.

lol, SS is in a dead heat with Skyrim on Metacritic, trailing 95 to 96.

C'mon Zelda -- you can do it!

It probably will, SS has 18 critic reviews for it, whilst Skyrim only has like 7 lol. So it's doing damn well right now I'd say!

The thing to remember about reviews... they are simply opinions. Even people bad at games can have opinions... One of the very few redeeming elements of IGN is that usually a few days after the review is out they do a second opinion page where all of the big editors weigh in.
