Heads up early adopters! Sony has just announced a new PS Vita Bundle pack that will allow you to get your hands on the PS Vita one whole week before it officailly begins to sell on February 22nd, 2012. Just announced on their blog site, Sony has announced the PS Vita First Edition Bundle pack. This U.S. bundle will include a 3G+WiFi Playstation Vita, a limited edition case, 4GB Vita memory card, and the game Little Deviants for only $349.99. The Canadian bundle will include a WiFi only PS Vita, limited edition case, 4GB Vita memory card, and Little Deviants for only $299.99. The best part about these bundles is that you will be able to pick up your PS Vita and all its goodies as early as February 15th, 2012. That gives you an entire week of exclusivity.

PSVita looks amazing in that picture. Would love to buy it on release/early release, not sure there is any game I am interested in during release.

I'm going to switch my pre-order over to this. Why not? $50 extra isn't bad for a case, game, and 4GB memory card.

Go and hate me for this but I still don't like the PS Vita, I would love to hold it in my pocket but... those nubs..

No games really interest me, Final fantasy X did a BIT, but I rather use my 3DS instead of this one. I may get one if I only had the money for it.

How many times has someone said this to you?
It will fit in your pocket, unless you wear girly skinny - can not breathe - jeans.
You're either grossly underestimating the size of the Vita, or overestimating the size of an average pant pocket.

Or is this what you had in mind:

Still not interested in PS Vita sadly, the only game I vaguely would be interested in would be Uncharted and even then I might as well get a PS3 and just get the main ones on a cheaper console with a much better line of exclusives.

I was the same with PSP but after a few years it became an essential purchase with a lot of games that were ironically ones the DS could do.

 The desktop in the back pocket, people have too much free time.

I haven't really been following the Vita, but I can't imagine why someone would want the 3g model over the Wi-Fi. I assume there's a monthly charge?

why is everyone saying NO to the 3g version

the vita 3g is NOT for downloading or gaming (use wifi for that)

you can use just for internet, email, twitter, and other social networking (when there is NO wifi)
like iPhone and other 3g smart phones do

Yeah, I think about $50 per month.

From my brief google-ing it doesn't seem like they've clearly outlined the data plan cost and limits. Why in God's name would someone preorder a 3g system before knowing exactly what to expect month-to-month?
Maybe I'm just a cheap bastard.

Because everyone has a phone that can already do all that.

I haven't been following it either, there is a monthly charge for sure if you want a cellular 3G plan. I heard it should cost $20-$50 USD a month. 3G model also includes a GPS unit. Both are useless to me due to smartphones and having other PMP devices.
