If you're thinking of travelling to the UK, why not learn how to speak in an authentic British accent and impress the locals, or may be, you would just like to impress your friends and family? Then look no further than this excellent tutorial.

Cor Blimey, Mary Poppins!

That is most definitely NOT a British/English accent. If you came over here and spoke like that people would think you had brain damage.

There is no such thing as a "British" accent. There are dozens of accents across Britain, more across Great Britain, and even more across the UK (I point this out because the OP seemed to suggest UK = Britain, which is not the case).

This sounds nothing like the English accent, stupid American dogs :P
I live in a (relatively) posh area of England and no-one sounds like that
British =/= English.

But then as an English person you wouldn't understand that :P

(I haven't watched the video, so I don't know if it actually sounds British or not, but it claims to sound British, and you're complaining it doesn't sound English. I have to point out the huge flaw in that)

Did you even bother to read the titles of the videos? This is the EOF, I was just going along with the ignorance of this woman.
