Do you know of the Wadsworth constant? It says you can skip the first 30% of a YouTube video without missing anything important, because, as a rule, the interesting stuff starts at roughly 30% in.

Well YouTube has now recognized and implemented the Wadsworth constant as a feature. Just add "wadsworth=1" as a parameter in the video URL, and the video will start playing 30% in, sparing you the boring intro.

Try it.

The feature is there for when you're sending the link to someone else. And it's a gag feature more than anything else.

More like to press 3:
>press 3 the first time which doesn't work
>realise it's because you aren't focussed
>click the video frame to focus which also pauses it
>unpause it
>press 3

That's even assuming when it doesn't work you're able to tell what the problem is.

Interesting, but for a 5 minute music video, it skips to around 1:30. So you basically miss 1:30 minutes of music. But it's an interested concept.
