3DS 2nd Circle Pad coming to US early 2012

The additional Circle Pad will be available for use in Capcom's Resident Evil: Revelations, coming out on February 7, 2012, according to Capcom's Ryan McDougall at New York Comic Con.

McDougall did not say whether the second Circle Pad is coming out separately or in a bundle, but he confirmed that, if you want it, you will be able to get it.
We've known that the second Circle Pad is coming to North America, but we haven't had any hard confirmation of when it was coming. It will be out in Japan alongside Monster Hunter 3G in December.

Who said the next revision will have this built in? It's not even a rumor, just people speculating. Just like how everyone "knew" the iPhone 5 would be released this year.

If you're gonna wait you'll probably have to wait for a long time.

yes, wait. i'd much rather prefer better cameras on a revision.

To be honest, I'm actually looking FORWARD to this. It's great that this ugly looking fuck gives a whole lot grip.

It adds another analog stick with two more triggers to make it feel like an actual controller + grip.

Even though it IS ugly.

lolwut? It is a rumor, there was a Nintendo employee that wrote up multiple stories about the future of nintendo, published by 01net. All of the things in those letters have been true so far, the guy said that the 3DS launching with only 1 circlepad was a mistake, and they were working to get out a quick fix for the 3ds that adds the second circlepad, which came true with "The Slider Pad". He also predicted that a revision of the 3DS would be released with the second circlepad built in.

That source also was the first to report problems with the wireless chipset that handled the streaming for the Wii U controller, which was later supported by multiple other sources.


Edit: The iPhone 5 was also a rumor, I don't see how a rumor being false suddenly makes it blatant falsehood spread around by people who know nothing.

well I for one am waiting for the iphone 5
(I wasnt satisfied with what the 4S had to offer over the 4. Would've gotten the 4 but since its price only dropped by nearly nothing, I'll just wait and see.)

On Topic: gee I hope Nintendo aren't going to release a new 3DS iteration with an extra stick. Because I feel like buying a 3DS for christmas...
