Hacking HELP WITH 0121 Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow (U)

hi

i am using a m3 zero i card

using a sandisk 4gb card

and i cant play Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrow

the screen turns white and nothing happens

i am usng sakura 1.48

and i am using dsi 1.4e

what should i do?

I don't think DoS has any anti-piracy, since it was such an early game, so maybe either you need to reformat the SD, or you got a bad dump. Try downloading the game off another site, and if that doesn't work, back up everything and format. Those are the only two things I can think of.

download the game 5 times :S lol

Have you tried using another Microsd? Is the softreset/rts off?

some quick but easy things to try:

*Format with "SD formatter" google it (in the options select "full erase on")
*Don't put the game in a sub folder on the sd card
*Disable Cheat in game
*Disable Soft reset
*Disable Real Time Save

Try US and EU version.

I believe there are 2 releases of the US version and 1 version of the game won't work on M3real (2 white screens). Try to grab it from another source and see if it helps

I encountered freezing problems in the warp rooms with my M3 Real and Sandisk 4GB Class 2 SDHC.
After replacing the microSD with an Panasonic class 6 all issues are gone! Even TWEWY does not freeze in the intro sequence any longer!

Apart from that I would also recommend to try a different dump, reformatting the SD and holding your breath upon starting the game...

i formted on windows and the cards looks slower :\

i dont have another micro sd

i am now formating with panasonic sd formater 2

i will even put the rom on root directory

works fine on my m3 real.....Never had a problem with mine.

people who get freezing issues it's usually because their micro sd is a slow class 2 or because of fragmentation, so format your card or buy a class 6 micro sd. You can get a 4GB Class 6 Adata for around $7 - $10, try newegg!

Don't assume a class 2 card is good enough just because it's a kingston or sandisk....I've had 2 Adata's for 2 years now and both of them have no problems playing any games.

the latest ones, M3Sakura_v1.49a_3rd_Multi and M3iZero_FCORE_v2.0.2

still doesnt work.

:/ never had problems with DoS.
PoR was a desaster, crashed every x minutes when entering the inventory (probably a slow SD card)

It has been ported over the M3 for quite some time now
Just download the latest file from here, then in the folder called "M3Real_M3iZero YSMenu," copy everything (except How to Install.txt) to the root of your microSD card.

Also since the M3 is a grossly out of date card, might I suggest investing in a new card such as an Acekard 2i or R4i Gold (from http://www.r4ids.cn/ ) or even a Supercard DSTwo? All are much better cards.
