Quake II summary
Quake II is a first-person shooter video game developed by id Software and published by Activision. It is not a direct sequel to Quake, id decided to revert to an existing trademark when they were unable to agree on a new name that did not violate another company's trademark.

I mean if a company could use AI to do the work of a home conversion for essentially free why not? The rights for some games are completely lost though -

But other than PC and Amiga ports I don't think Time Soldiers had any game system ports after the Master System
