Fucking shit keeps getting worse and worse over time.
Yesterday decided to wipeout my Lap and reinstall Win10 because I had lot of shit installed on it and my drive was getting filled.
So I saved pictures and my music files on an external hard drive and proceeded.
Today I reinstalled the software I use and recovered my files. I have a whopping 380GB of space compared to 300GB before the wipe.
And it fucking asked me for a password to fucking login to my fucking desktop. So I changed that on the Settings menu (the Gear icon) by making my account to local. Easy weezy.
Then debloated the shit out of it through Powershell® and I noticed that I couldn't see pictures because the application to do so got deleted. LOL
I frickin went to the Windows Store to redownload the app and everything was fine.
Restarted my lap and bam! It didn't asked me for a password to start it.
Attempted to use GIMP and it has a lot of useless shit on it so I wanted to erase it just to get more organized.
Surprise surprise, I couldn't because I'm no longer the admin.
Fastforward googling fixes, and one of them said to execute "netplwiz". It prompts a window saying: Do you want to run it? With the only option available of an amusing and always exciting NO.
I went to Control Panel to change my account and it says that my account is a Local Guest. Tried to change it to Admin and it says that I'm not the admin to change the option.
I went to the Settings (the Gear icon) and I can't do anything because it says the same.
I open CMD and typed: Net Users and it showed:
Admin - Guest
Basically, Windows deleted the admin account.
So, my only option was to boot into safemode as an admin and change THE ONLY FUCKING ACCOUNT ON MY LAP FROM GUEST TO ADMIN.
BUT HERE'S A FUCKING SECRET!
YOUR TIMING TO PRESS SHIFT AS YOU RESTART YOUR MACHINE MUST BE FUCKING ON POINT OTHERWISE IT WON'T WORK
5 tries later and I'm able to choose Boot into Safe Mode.
Once Safemode is booted, the shit has all the fucking bloatware that my regukar and only account had.
Anyways. Pressed Win+R and typed "netplwiz" and NOW I'm able to change the only fucking account on my lap from guest to admin.
Restart and now everything's fine.
For the record: The changing from admin to local account via Settings (the Gear icon) while STILL RETAINING ADMIN PRIVILEGES worked flawlessly a year ago.
And also, fucking Win10 updated today
