You'll be put in some sort of correctional place where the guards will do this to your asshole.

Just throw it away, or use it if you have a phone or other device that supports it.
Don't give it to the police or send it back; they might scapegoat you. It's like turning in a lost wallet and then getting blamed for stealing money out of it.

Actually the best thing to do is to inconspicuously drop it back where you found it. That clears your conscience, and someone else might be nice enough to return it.

You really should send it back. I would hate losing my memory card somewhere. Don't be mean, and just mail it. Maybe you'll get a reward!

The good person in me says, freak them out and then send them the cleared memory stick.

Photoshop every picture on that stick to your heart's desire, add some random pictures to it, then send it back.

Or find some high-res hardcore pr0n pics and make a note of the filenames of the pics on the memory stick. If they have the original filenames from the camera (e.g., DCIM_0000, IMG_0000, etc.), rename the pr0n pics to the same format to make it look like they were taken from the same camera. Then send it back.

Hmm... What if they did it purposely? Reading what DeMoN said got me thinking...

Why would a random memory stick be lying around...? Maybe with a device [ie. PSP] it would give you a good reason on why there would be a memory stick. But if it is by itself, who knows why it could be there.

Just re-drop it at the same place... At least you know you didn't do anything bad.
