Hello Internet, welcome to Ciel Theory
I typically have a pretty lengthy Christmas wishlist. This year, that wasn't the case. I really had only 3 things on my wishlist.
My older brother got an Xbox One which has been downloading games the past few days and has made my internet slow to a goddamn snail's pace, my younger brother got a Smart TV and Super Mario Maker 2, and I got a Chromebook and A Hat in Time on the Nintendo Switch. The entire family got a big fucking ping-pong table to share.
On my wishlist, I had A Hat in Time on Switch, Super Mario Maker 2, and a Chromebook. I got them all, which is the first year that's really happened. I shit on my parents more than they deserve.
If you're curious, the specific Chromebook I got was the (Acer did not sponsor this blog in any way shape or form, thanks a fuckin lot to everyone over at) Acer Chromebook Spin 15. I'm pretty pleased with it thus far, I haven't really experienced any lag at all when it comes to everyday computing tasks. (I used to get a fuckton of lag spikes on the old piece of shit I used to use during day-to-day browsing with just Discord and Firefox open, for comparison.) The only honest complaint I really have with it is that using the on-screen keyboard in tablet mode can be really awkward, but considering it's a laptop, I'd say that's really a rather minor complaint.
Now I don't know what to ask for on my birthday. Maybe I'll just ask for a hug.
I don't know what else to write here. I really only typed this because I was bored.
[insert witty blog ending here]
