LineWarsDS is a port of the developer's 15yr old DOS project, known as Line Wars II. The game is a 3D space flight SIM of sorts. The Dev relates it to Wing Commander and Elite.

I wouldn't recommend Duolingo as a main source of learning due to its varied quality. Some Duolingo courses haven't been updated in years.+3
