YouTube got a new layout.

It's currently in testing, and can be accessed from here.

There are a couple of things I have a problem with. You can't play videos from the YouTuber's page. Also, the subscription page is still the same, which is pretty awful in my opinion. What do you think?

They removed the Nyan Cat flying thing on the loading bar on the video. Now I'm sad.

They also linked to a Rick Roll playlist.

It's better than the current one, but it's too over done. I thought Google was the king of being simple. They just need to get it right with Youtube.

Google did wonderful with being simple, but now they're trying to be "cool" and the new social thing to go to, like Facebook.

Google has been getting into too much shit lately; fighting the iPhone, and now social sites...

Meh, don't like the new layout. Glad they didn't make any prevention measures for using video ripping tools.

I actually like Google+ more than Facebook. Problem is, that it won't catch on.

It's a lot nicer in my opinion.

And as for the new layout, I guess you're right. I didn't like how you would scroll down, and the video would scroll with you, but now that I think about it, it makes more sense. To be able to view comments and the video at the same time. I think they can do better, but no complaints.

Seriously, as soon as I saw it I lol'd.
I love using/seeing the word "cosmic" , I love Nyan cat too and Rick Roll'd brings back memories.

It's just like they made it for me :P


I like how it looks, is there any way to wipe off the Feedback button? It ruins the rainbows.
