You think celebrities play games?

So I just watched a video on IGN of the AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo), and a guy was going around asking a bunch of porn stars, (most of I haven't heard except for one), what their favorite video game was. Why do porn stars act like they know what video games are? One girl said "I'm into halo, that's the one where you shoot the zombies right?"

Another girl said she was into Mario Galaxy 2. And the guy asked "usually this is a naughty question, but are you into four player action?" She said "haha yeah.. wait what are we talking about again?

The only porn star who knew what game she was into, and the only one who I knew, was Bobbi Starr. She mentioned a game I never heard of, but when she said she was into Plants vs Zombies, she knew what her favorite plant and everything was. While it may not seem like much, compared to all the other girls who just said the obvious "mario", she seemed like a genius.

Personally I would like to see what Jenna Haze and Riley Steele would have said.

But why is it that celebrities give us fake answers. It's not hard to tell when you are playing us like fools. We know you aren't playing games by the answers you give us. It's as if they are talking down to us gamers. It also makes you look like idiots and make us lose respect for you... well for me anyways.

And this just doesn't go for pornstars either. It's mainly all people who are in front of a camera. And the questions aren't even hard of what they're usually asked "whats your favorite game?" "what are you playing right now?" and all that crap. Personally, when I hear people come up with fake answers, I get a bit embarrassed because when someone sees that, they sometimes think "wow, are all gamers that stupid?"

Did any of them mention God Hand?

aNo?

All of them said Mario games. Except for one who said the original Zelda (which I highly doubt from the looks of her), and another said Halo is where you shoot the zombies.

Bobbi Starr I know plays video games because she tweets it all the time. She also said her favorite game is a game called Zork. I never heard of it.

I'm surprised they didn't mention any Move-supported games. Seems right up their alley.

Pretty sure it's a super-old computer game, like a text-based adventure. I thought you could play it in Black Ops if you break out of the chair and go to the computer. Might be getting it confused with another game though, but I doubt it.

Tweet her asking if she's ever been eaten by a grue.

I've never noticed this with porn stars, but I've seen it a lot with celebrities who have appearances on game related programs (mostly back when G4 was "TV for Gamers" and not "Cops Network"), interviews in magazines, or even on gaming news sites.

[off-topic] It also pisses me off when people in movies are supposed to be playing a game but they just flail wildly on the buttons for 3 minutes.
We're really supposed to buy that? It's like saying people who play games are idiots, yet the smartest people I know are big gamers. [/off-topic]

I bet Eva Angelina loves the Play Station Move

I don't know, I haven't really heard a lot of celebs talking about video games. I do trust Jack Black though.

None of them mentioned any motion game. The closest was WiiFit

The first thing that came to mind about the off-topic thing, was in Heroes. When the blonde girl is playing Heavenly Sword with her son, and it's that part in the game where you're just sliding down a rope, and all you have to do is do timed button presses. But when they showed her holding the controller, she was going to town on the thing.

I remember at one point on House he was playing one of the GBA metroids, button presses weren't timing up and he mentioned it having levels. And the sounds were wrong.

Do pr0nstars count as celebrities these days?

But to answer the question, I imagine a good number of them do.
