XBOX YEAH

Well I finally got my 360 for Christmas which I really wanted, I got an Elite which came with LEGO Batman and Pure (Some weird quadbike racing game) which are kinda cool. I also got Mass Effect, Bioshock and Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Anyway, for Christmas I was at a relatives house and also stayed there for a few more days and only today I got back home and finally was able to play my 360. Though what I have found is that my console only came with the standard video cables when my friend who recently got an Elite got component cables, so when using PAL-60 my picture is all stretched and badly anti-aliased and when using PAL-50 it is cleared up slightly (For some bizarre reason) but is uncompatible with some games (eg: Mass Effect) which makes it look terrible and when playing Mass Effect the picture is slightly jumpy and horrible. Anyway I'm going to go out and buy some component cables on Tuesday (When the shops reopen) and maybe Modern Warfare 2. Though it was really irritating when playing Mass Effect because the picture was darker and anti-aliased all badly (If any), the picture was stretched and also the words were near unreadable that I read omni-gel as omni-get or health-get.

EDIT: Oh wow I thought that Tuesday was tomorrow when infact it is today, time to get myself some sleep!

Microsoft stopped supplying component cables with the 360. Also the HDMI cable isn't in the bundle anymore. I suggest you just get a 10 dollar HDMI cable and enjoy the best quality.

Have fun with your 360! I really like mine and the top games the system has. :lol:

I'm on it, and i can barely read the text on Star Ocean, I'll try PAL-50 and see if it is readable

Yeah, shitsux although I would change it to PAL-50 for games like Mass Effect but they are restricted to PAL-60. So without it displaying in 480p or more it will look shitty.

Just a quick fact about Mass Effect. As default settings, there is a film grain in use which is intended to give the game a 70's space film look. I think it looks like shit with it on and turning it off makes it look so much better.
