What Should I Ask for Christmas

Ok, well Christmas is right around the corner. My parents always ask a month or two before Christmas what we want for Christmas so they can go ahead and get it early so they can beat the rush and not worry about it later on in the coming weeks. Every year, I always have something that I want for Christmas, whether it be a game or some clothes or some shoes. This year is different though cause I have no clue what I want.

I'm having a hard time deciding or thinking up things that I want for Christmas. I don't want any Nintendo DS games because, hey, I have my CycloDS so I shouldn't even bother asking for one. There are Wii games that I want, but with the Backup Loader in production, I don't see a need to buy any games. Especially since all the games I want are import games. I could ask for some PSP games, but there aren't that many good PSP games out there. On top of that, my PSP has custom firmware installed on it, so I can download the games. And I can easily buy myself a new memory card since I'm getting a job this month. I was going to ask for a DSi but decided against it because it was $300 to import which is money we don't have right now since only my dad is working because my mom has problems with her back and hasn't been to work. Plus there are several of us in the family for them to support so I don't want to ask for anything that will put a burden on them.

I want to ask for nothing at all but my parents insist that I ask for a couple of things for Christmas. I want to just ask for some clothes and shoes but they were planning on taking us out to go shopping for our clothes anyway so there would be no point in asking for that. So I need help thinking of at least 2 things that I may want for Christmas and maybe an idea for a present for my parents to show how much I care. Please help me people of GBATemp. Any help is appreciative.

Get GH:WT, and AC:Wii. Starcraft 2 also looks good.

@op: get a 360. $199 CAD for pro? that's dirt cheap. mod it, and get a few more controllers and ur set :yayds:

Apparently we can get a family gift for Christmas from my aunts and uncles so its either a PS3 or a 360. Don't know which though.

I'm not an Animal Crossing fan so I'll pass..

I want to go for a 360 but I hear they still have that RRoD problem and it actually costs money to use Live. PS3 is good too but it has many bugs in it so I don't know what to lean towards.

Hmm,

I'd go with a
-Camera
- iPod Touch

Although between the 360/PS3 debate.

You have less console failures with a PS3
but 360 has a far more superior online service, Yes it cost money, but its worth it.
Also the 360 is getting the new dashboard on the 19th full of features, but Sony will get HOME eventually.

I'd go with a PS3 thanks to Blu-Ray and such,

I love my touch...I think when you start going to college, games are going to be one the last things have on your "to do list". Cemera is a good way to catch those "special moments" or the ipod touch which allows you to surf the internet on college campus and play music... Hope that helped...

Well, I've decided to ask for a 360 for a family present. I can't get an iPod Touch since I have my PSP to play music and they are considering a camera but I need at least 1 or 2 more things to ask for. So what games can I get for the 360 that are good? And can I mod my 360 somehow?

Yes, you can mod your xBOX..but you have to be aware for coming updates that will ban you from Live ;)

Yeah, I heard good things about that game. Heard The Broken Bond was going to be good when it comes out this month. But beyond those two, I don't know any good 360 games.

I'm aware of that. I'm wondering how do you mod your 360. You flash it right? Also, it probably won't even matter if I get banned from Live if I can use XLinkai
